I loved staying at Rumah. Everything was perfect.
The team are really nice people and easy to communicate with. New apartments, I was the first guest in this
accommodation. The place is very pretty. The apartment is spacious, clean, quiet and chill with a nice little swimming pool "you feel like home". Great location at the beginning of the small main street of this lovely village La Pedrera, Very close to coffee shops, bars, nice little restaurants and the sea with three long wild beaches (Playa del Barco, Playa del Desplayado, Playa Punta Rubia) .
I highly recommend this accommodation to everyone!
Have loved LP, since my first visit, in 2007. I even started looking to buy a summer home there, to get out of Buenos Aires but then, the banking crisis of 2008 happened and losing 50% of my value, overnight nixed that idea. Sadly, for ten yrs. since 2013, I wasn't able to return, because of various problems but now, that Uruguay is open and my challenges are done, I'll be back twice a yr. for sure. Love the beach bum life. In a tiny, charming town. With plenty of interesting things to do, eat and see, even in off season.

We were there during peak high season around New Years so it was packed with college age students on holiday. There are many choices to eat, and cute shops with a hippy vibe. It was fun to walk around at night with lots of music and things going on. We didn’t go to the beach or come during the day.

The accommodation is spacious and very well equipped and was very clean and tidy. The owners live on the site and other staff are around as well. All are very friendly and and also professional and unobtrusive. This is a quiet and peaceful setting a little bit a off the beaten track. The beach is a ten minute stroll and the beautiful little town of la Pedrera is a pleasant and not too long walk along the beach. The swimming pool on the site is clean and is a refreshing antidote to the challenge of waves. I happily recommend Hjem.
Location is terrific if you love peace and quiet. Very close to the sea, close to but not really in La Pedrera with its access to buses. Please note there are no ticket offices at La Pedrera bus station. Buy online, on the bus or in La Paloma. Cabo Polonia is possible from here - a splendid place with.sea lions. Breakfast here is simple but adequate. I enjoyed my week here very much indeed. Two friendly cats and a dog.
The location is really nice for those looking for a simple, calm, relaxing stay in nature. The outside area is nice to sit and have a drink. The owners are friendly and everything is very slow. A quite remote beach is nearby and with a 15min car ride the village "la pedrera" with nice restaurants and beaches can be reached. You absolutely need to be travelling by car to reach everything.
Our hostess Nadia was wonderful. She even picked us up and dropped us back at the bus stop, which otherwise would have been a 45 minute walk, and gave us a short tour of the town.
The house had a fabulous view of the beach, looking towards La Pedrera. It was a lovely 20 minute walk along the beach to the town. We had a wonderfully relaxing few days.
I liked it was clean and tidy, near the center of La Pedrera, I liked the room, the beds, the bathrooms, the kitchen and the dinning room were clean, the breakfast was ok, it has 2 ropes to sundry the clothes. Plenty of seats and two Paraguayan hammocks. Almost everyone from the staff, they were present and very attentive.
Simple accomodation in a lovely property surrounded by nature walking distance from the beach and La Pedrera village. The owner Juan is the most lovely, responsive and careful person. As I wasn’t feeling like going to the village for dinner, he prepared me a delicious omelette.
The house is beautiful and area just fabulous. Our family enjoyed the short walk to the beach every day and hours at the essentially private beach. It is just a short drive to La Pedrera to enjoy the restaurants there. The owners were helpful and had great recommendations!
This property included all the essentials required for my 5 day stay. The perfect location overlooking the ocean with easy access to a beautiful beach and a short distance to La Pedrera. The host. Nadia was great to work with and local if you need her.
The staff was great and the overall place had a great charm to it. It was a 10 minute walk to restaurants and a 15 minute walk to the beach. The hotel provided beach chairs and umbrellas which was great and parking was easy.
Perfect location behind the main street of La Pedrera. Spacious area with big balcony, confortable and clean bed and all the necessary stuff to even cook.
We had a nice stay!
Amazing host, Marta is the best. Great breakfast and very close to the city center, this posada (hotel) is the best option in La Pedrera. Clean and confortable.
