Some places we ate were Rooster and the Crow, Brunches, and the Famous Toastery. All were amazing. Mayfaire was a great place to shop, along with other stores such as their massive Target and the Home Sense. Great location to neighboring towns such as Southport, Carolina Beach, etc for sightseeing.

Typical eastern NC city just on steroids with the Port and University. Stay out of the "wrong" areas and you should be safe.Good access to Carolina, Kure and Wrightsville Beach, but the communities are pricing themselves out of existence by too high rates and ridiculously high pay for parking tariffs. Have lots of money with you and if you have a tight budget opt for either the Crystal Coast or Oak Island/ Southport Shallotte area where prices are more reasonable, piers are more reasonable and in better condition, and the municipalities are not sooo money hungry!

Wilmington is BEAUTIFUL!
Wilmington is BEAUTIFUL! So much to do and for everyone in the family! We had our daughter and 2 dogs with. Downtown is stunning with a beautiful and long Riverwalk with so many sights to see. The beaches are beautiful and accessible. 10/10 recommend visiting!

A great city that has much to offer. The downtown is on an upward turn and there are plenty of good restaurants and a few good shops, they could use some more. The Riverwalk is nice and the carriage tour fun for some history. The Wrightsville Beach area is perfect for a beach day or walk. A few little shops and a great pier. Love SUNdays and the surf shop below. Better food downtown but that could change, parking is pricey and hard to find, be prepared. Better to park outside the beach area a bit and walk in ...
The room was more than ample for the two of us. It was clean and comfortable. The room exceeded our expectations for the price we paid. We both truly enjoyed the location of the hotel as well. Restaurants and shops were less than half a mile away, within walking distance. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay! Thank you to the staff who were welcoming and wonderful.
The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect. Didn’t have to drive far to get to any of my destinations. The hotel bar was wonderful and stocked with everything I asked for.
The room was huge! I also enjoyed the view of the golf course.
The staff was very friendly when I had called and helped me figure out the best way to do a late check-in.
