Great location and close to the start of the boardwalk and beach. The people at the front desk were friendly but unfortunately promised to fix things that were never fixed.

Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Allowed me to check in an hour early. Room was very big with 2 bathrooms & a great balcony and view. Also loved the fact that toiletry products were all Aveda products!

For older people Cape May is more appropriate, but more expensive.
There are many good restaurants, like Little Italy for dinner, Duffers for breakfast, 2 mile restaurant for crabs and seafood.
It all depends on what you like.

Location is excellent Access to the boardwalk, restaurants, shops, rides, games, food, free sporting facilities (basketball, pickleball, tennis, volleyball, and even softball) all in very walking distance. Bike rentals steps away and a heated pool.

Beautiful, quiet and very clean. We ate at Sals pizza, good food,restaurant needs updating. Ate at Two Mile Landing...slow service,fair food,nice atmosphere. Ate at Waterfront in Wildwook. Excellent food.

I love the beach.
I love the beach. If you stay in the crest or diamond beach the shore line is not as long and it’s generally quieter. The boardwalk is so much fun. Buy discounted amusement tickets when the have the pre season sale.

I stayed at the Mahalo and it was truly paradise.
I stayed at the Mahalo and it was truly paradise. Even the the house parrot (Maui) made for a friendly welcome. The area is so pretty and clean and beautiful for a morning or evening stroll or bike ride. Many choices for dining from seafood and steak to Italian. If you’re looking for exciting nightlife you won’t find it here in the crest although just about a mile and a half towards north there’s a lot of action and a huge boardwalk that has something for everyone. Just be sure to bring a lot of money as it could get very costly, but if you choose a room with cooking facilities that can save you some money. I give Wildwood crest a perfect 10.

The beaches are beautiful!
The beaches are beautiful! The boardwalk is ridiculously expensive, if you have small children, rides are several tickets costing upwards of $100 for only a handful of rides. I am glad they brought the Jitney back, for $3 bucks, after 5 pm you can take it up and down the entire boardwalk/crest area, well worth it, especially if your staying past the boardwalk, more towards the end of the Crest.
This hotel is extremely clean! They provide you plenty of towels and pillows to start without even needing to ask for more. Nice smaller balcony. Right at the start of Wildwood Crest just at the end of the boardwalk. Nice and quiet. Staff was all very friendly. We arrived early and thankfully our room was ready and it was only 11am which check in is normally at 4pm so that was a great surprise. Truly cannot say enough good things about this hotel.
Clean room great location nice staff I have stayed at most of the hotels in the surrounding area over the years and have found this one to be in me of the best in the Crest. While no Crest hotel is 5 star. This one is more updated then most and has very comfortable mattresses. Only complaint was some rude guests at pool that were a large family that were playing their own music a little loud but that was not hotels fault. Will be back
The property was very nice, well maintained, and more up-to-date than a lot of surrounding hotels. We had a slight issue with the first room, and they quickly accommodated us with another room. It's right on the beach, which was a huge draw, and the beach bar was very nice to have nearby. We had our kids with us and they loved the hotel. The staff was also really wonderful.
All rooms have an ocean view. Unlike many properties in Wildwood Crest, this is actually a hotel, with 24 hour staffing, carpeted hallways, elevators, a small gift shop and a cafe offering (excellent) breakfast. Our efficiency was well equipped with all basic kitchen accoutrements and we appreciated the in-room safe, as well as the abundance of pillows and blankets.
Beautiful view of the ocean and close to all in Wildwood Crest. 5 minutes from Cape May. Ocean was perfect and the ramp made it so much easier to get out 1/2 way down to the water. Just the best view ever - sunrises and sunsets from right outside on our balcony. THEY WERE GORGEOUS!
Well. He had pretty high expectations from that trip. Recently renovated oceanfront hotel with great reviews. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great location with quick access to an amazing boardwalk and a pier. Nice restaurants and cafes in the area. Very family friendly destination.
We have been to innumerable other Wildwood Crest hotels and motels over the years . They all look the same and mediocre.
We were pleasantly surprised to find Pan American hotel to be incredibly beautiful , clean and first class place . We have finally found a great hotel to stay
The hotel staff kept the facility exceptionally clean. The pool and outdoor common areas were cleaned daily. Housekeeping staff cleaned and restocked rooms with towels on a daily basis.
