The Residence Inn was a great choice for us in Vail. The hotel has all the amenities you need for your ski trip. Their shuttle service to Vail Village is very convenient and runs every 15 minutes until 10pm. Parking is great! Without knowing too much about other hotels in Vail, I think it is an excellent option in terms of price/benefit without ever feeling like a low-cost hotel (which it is not). 100% recommended.

It is all about the skiing for most people, and the Vail ski resort is amazing. Hard to beat as a ski destination. It is generally a very expensive place to stay but there are many options available to you.
As a town, feels a bit disjointed with the two main locations of Vail Village and Lionshead being separated. If you come without your own transport, get used to having to take buses/shuttles most places. Having said that, the transport system is incredibly good once you work it all out. Lots of places to eat, moreso in Vail Village.
As it is also under Epic Pass, easy to ski Beaver Creek during your stay in Vail, with a great (free) bus service mostly every 20 mins from Vail to BC and only takes about half an hour. It is a shame that the same is not available for Breckenridge, another Epic resort.

Amazing mountain!
Amazing mountain! You can’t beat the vastness of this mountain. There is something for everyone and every level of skiing.
The village is awesome with plenty of restaurants and shops. I would avoid this place on busy holiday weekends.

We visited during the autumn when the aspen colors were at their peak. Incredible views everywhere. Nice warm sun and cool nights. Village was pretty quiet as it was "between seasons" which made for a very relaxing visit, with no waits for restaurants, etc. Very easy to walk around the public areas.

Vail is a beautiful and extreemly well mantained town.
Vail is a beautiful and extreemly well mantained town. It is a credit to the locals who seem to take great pride in their town. It has the benefit natural beauty with its surrounding mountains. The free electric bus service that teavels around the town is a great way to see the sights including the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens which are well worth a visit .

Very bad experience I don’t recommend no one to rent this property…
Magnificent hotel - the moment you walk in you know you are in for a comfortable stay. I went just after ski season had finished so it was much much cheaper and very quiet. The room was very luxurious (even has it's own gas fireplace) and I can imagine settling in after a long day skiing. There is an enormous gym and steam room / sauna and even a cold plunge tub. I could not afford to stay here during peak season!
The shuttle service was SO convenient and so close to us, it made our trip hassle free in terms of not worrying about loading the car, driving and parking at Vail Village. The space fit 5 perfectly, 2 in one room, 2 in the other room and 1 on the pull out couch and everything was very comfortable! Super cute space, we’re already planning our next Vail trip!
The location was very easy to get to the freeway and Vail skiing villages. The house was clean and each room of the house has their own temperature control. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was plenty of soaps and towels in each bathroom. The beds were also comfortable and the pillows were nice and fluffy.
Location was fantastic and the facility was everything you'd expect in a 5 star hotel in a mountain resort. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The pool and spa were well maintained and wonderful. The room was aptly furnished with plenty of sitting area and a small, well stocked kitchen.
I absolutely love this hotel. This is our second time staying here. We’ve never stayed at the same hotel twice, but this place is the exception! It’s affordable in comparison to other properties at Vail, yet you feel like you are staying at a luxury hotel. I hope this never changes!
The hotel was under renovation, but they gave me an upgrade with an excellent room, recently renovated, the staff were great, all the service was very attentive, the location is wonderful, the breakfast was not luxurious, but very good for the price. I loved my experience.
First floor room was convenient Unit was pretty clean except for the piece of waffle in the bedroom closet. Close enough to the club house. Sauna, pool and hot tubs were good. Bus stop was convenient. Close enough to Vail village if driving a car.
The breakfast was very nice.... we loved the trails right behind the hotel leading to Vail Village.
We thought our room with our Husky was absolutely wonderful! Very clean.
The pool was very clean as well as the hottub.
This is a wonderful vacation house located within Vail town. I cannot say better than awesome. The host , is a very nice person who was all the time eager to make our staying even more pleasant.
I will come back !
The location is absolutely perfect: for skiing and enjoying the Village
The personnel: friendly, helpful, attentive; especially the concierge
The accommodation: lovely, cozy, clean, including common areas
Location to Vail Village was perfect. We ended up with an outside facing room so that was great for the view. The free van was great getting us back and forth from the villages was convenient.
Very quaint & clean. Good value comparatively for Vail area. Breakfast-included rate was a nice little bonus. Mountain flowers were gorgeous & healthy. Near-perfect location.
Perfect Vail stay. Kenny at the front desk was great - incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The shuttle to the lifts worked well. Easy parking, good room for us.
