Location was great and the room met our needs, first time staying in a motel and it did not disappoint. The family suit was great for four of us, it was just one night and so the kitchen wasn’t used. Room was clean, bathroom had everything. Stayed there during the ‘off season’ so wasn’t crowded at all.

It was our first visit to Tybee Island, but I hope not the last! Everyone was really friendly. The beach was our main focus, and it was beautiful and clean. The whole place has a small town feel, which was so relaxing. Our kids on the trip loved being able to walk almost everywhere. We ate at Stingray's (my favorite), Fannie's, Pier 16, and The Crab Shack. Oh, and the pizza place, I think it's called Huckapoos. That pizza was really good!

Tybee Island is now my favorite place - and I don't often say that about every vacation spot. I was in desperate need for relaxation with my high-stress job. I wanted a lower-key location with something fun to do in the afternoons while I enjoyed early morning and late night walks and swims in the ocean. Tybee Island was perfect - I particularly enjoy the tip of the south end of the beach and going up the western side where it was quiet and I could watch wildlife. On my trip, I saw numerous birds, tiny crabs, horseshoe crabs, jellyfish, and a sting ray that one fisherman caught on the south shore! In the early mornings after sunrise, I would sometimes be the only person wandering along the southern tip, sometimes just a few others look for shells and wildlife like me.
For afternoon trips, I enjoyed visiting the island's lighthouse, making an excursion out to Fort Pulaski, and shopping in all of the cute small shops. There are so many ice cream and drink spots, and we ate seafood everyday at Sting Ray's. We wanted to try other places...but honestly, it was so good, right beside of our hotel, and we were so full afterward that it was nice to just collapse into bed! Additionally, there were two great breakfast spots in the south side of the island that were very affordable, and that had buffets if that was what you wanted.
The only thing I regret about this trip was that I made it for three nights, and honestly, I wish I had done at least one full week.

The island is ok; however, it was Memorial Day weekend and there were a lot of people there. I personally would not go to Tybee Island on the holidays. My favorite spot is The Crab Shack. We ate there several times during our stay. Again, I would not go to Tybee during the holidays due to the crowds.

The beach is awesome!!!!
The beach is awesome!!!! And free dolphin sightings were a major plus! The water is clear & clean, the sand is soft, & the town is very laid-back & quiet. Great place to relax & reset for the whole family. Food is better in Savannah though, FYI!

I loved the Monday afternoon farmers market.
I loved the Monday afternoon farmers market. We did not like our dog could not go on the beach. Fin's pizza is the best. It is easy to get around Tybee, but you do need to pay attention to the one way streets.
This little cottage was perfect for our stay. It was in the middle of everything, located on the bike route made it the perfect location. We rented bikes and were able to access the beaches easily from the cottage. Also, many parts of the beach were within walking distance. We enjoyed the screened in porch on this cottage and found the accommodations perfect. This cottage has Tybee Island charm. We are looking forward to our next visit to Tybee and will definitely stay here again. Mask Family
The interior of the main house was very nice, great antiques. We stayed in the Ophelia suite and it was cheery , had a small refrigerator and private bath.
Smokey was very helpful and added to enjoyment of the property.
The location is good, just a short walk to the beach and a few restaurants.
Breakfast was very good and drinks were available all afternoon in the same area.
I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast.
The staff was excellent. There was a little mixup with my 10 room reservation. That was no fault to the hotel and the lady at the desk was exceptional at being patient, and attempting to find the best solution until it was resolved. my group of 50 runners stayed at the hotel for the Tybee Island run fest, this hotel is right between the start and finish line and couldn’t have been any better location
Very nice family runs this hotel, I'm on Tybee all the time & often stay here because they're almost always the cheapest rate on the island
The beach is a block away across Butler & its located in the middle of the island so it's a short 10-15min walk whether you want to visit restaurants & shops on the north or south end
The main IGA grocery store on Tybee is also a 5min walk just a few blocks south
The size and how clean the room was great. The fact that we were on the ground floor was great as well. The price was way over what we paid in Clearwater Florida. The pool was not kept up well. The location of the Hotel was great for the beach and we were able to walk to all the restaurants. The paid public parking in the front was kinda scary. People hanging out there all hours.
Location was great, oceanfront access. We had two king suites located next to the hotel in a B&B. The rooms were connected which was great for family. The courtyard next to the rooms was private and shaded. One room had a bigger kitchen with a range top and counter seating. The other had a bigger living room with an efficiency kitchen.
We enjoyed meeting the other couple that was there. We enjoyed the wine and cheese on the porch. We liked how close we were to the beach. We enjoyed Shelly and her mom - they were so welcoming and helpful in recommending local attractions.
The owner and her son were very friendly. The motel was clean and comfortable. It was located midway between the south end of the island and the north end of the island, It is located close to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.
Always a great stay at the Dunes, short walk to everything on the south end of Tybee Island, Joy is the best at the desk, remembers me everytime I visit, also Dunes Cat out back regularly greets guests, very friendly kitty made my day!
The place was tastefully furnished, besides the plastic plants that they need to ditch. Location was steps from the beach. Apartment size was just fine for two people. Had ice in the freezer, which was a nice touch.
Everything was great! Super comfortable beds and soft bed sheets. Enough towels for everybody. It was really good we were able to use 2 beach chairs provided. Good A/C, all what you may need to cook and more!
It was in walking distance to the beach. It was a very quiet place. Overall me and my wife really enjoyed the stay. We would book with this place again if we stay in Tybee island again
found this spot close to the Tybee Island Chapel and was the best price and after staying one night, love the style and history. breakfast was perfect too
