This is the first 9 I've given a hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and it's always nice to get warn eggs and bacon. Just a lack of gluten free options let it down a little. But as always I came stocked with GF bread. Swimming pool is amazing. Gym is well equipped. Everywhere is clean. :) excellent views from the pool and city view bedroom.

Tampa is a beautiful city full of some of the best entertainment, food, people, gorgeous views of the bay, and so much more. Of course, traffic during the event we attended at the arena was scary to say the least, but it was sooooo worth it! And the officers directing traffic and helping with disabled attendees (my mom was one) were absolutely awesome!

we only stayed overnight after arriving from the UK befoe transiting on to our next flight arly morning the next day. The beds were comfortable, front desk staff were pleasant although we thought the bathroom could be doing with a revamp. We did not eat here.

Not happy with our visit to Hard Rock Casino. Cigarette smoking was so thick and bad. Awful stench and held my breath as long as I could. Why don’t you have those ashtrays with a hole in it. Need something to suck in smoke. Did not enjoy the atmosphere. They should not allow it. Make a nice place to go outside.

I only spent two nights in Tampa on a tour of Florida, but I thoroughly enjoyed Ybor City. Very pretty latino barrio, Hip bars and shops, beautifully restored historic buildings. Great Cuban food. Went during the day to see what's what. Loved the live chickens that you see everywhere on the street and also depicted in all kinds of murals and logo's. The receptionist at my hotel told me the area was not safe for a solo traveler at night. I went anyway. Just make sure you park in one of the parkings in the street itself, so you don't have to walk to the parking garage. Had a great time!

Many shopping outlets but spread apart.
Traffic is horrendous at all times and for the English can be a totally frightening experience
No lane discipline with cars overtaking in all 4 or 5 lanes and at speed
Crashes are seen all the time
Loads of eating outlets everywhere for all tastes and vegetarian options are appearing at many of them.
Be careful what time of year you go. June to October torrential rain and thunderstorms most days. Usually later on in the day. Temperatures in the high 30’s or more.
Air conditioning is everywhere though so you can escape the heat
About 1 1/2 hrs journey to all the Disney resorts on the main I. 4 road

The worst Hyatt I’ve ever stayed at.?Dirty and needs new mattresses and a renovation. We were horrified . The people were rude and awful. It’s a dump! Restaurant is horrible. We went to the Hyatt by Busch Gardens the following day thinking we could finally get comfort a good bed and less hostile and hateful people. The people at the Busch gardens Hyatt were nice than we found out that renovations new mattresses etc scheduled the next month. You have nerve to charge what you charge and claim 4 stars. I saw all those glorified stay and don’t believe any of them. We spoke to people in both hotels and elevators and they felt like we did . Minus 5 stars. That’s a zero with minus 5 stars. Both places gross and disgusting and both places had roaches too. Both places were dumps and we were stuck at 3 days because we were at moffitt hospital to which they finally gave us a discount the last night. I was shocked at how horrible both hotels were. Same awful hotel. Better people at Busch Hardens property. Yuk times 100
I was pleasantly surprised about the location which is in a old very historical part of Tampa, Ibor City. Has various shops, bars/gay and straight, arts/crafts, very clean. Early mornings city employees are cleaning.
The food at the hotel restaurant is very good. One has to have a reservation! Breakfast is ok. It has a small coffee shop, sells pastries, breakfast sandwiches. Coffee is free for hotel guest.
A block away one can catch the train trolly
The swimming pool was awesome, broad opening hours (from 6ish in the morning to 11PM if I recall correctly), the staff was very kind, the lobby area and surroundings looked wonderful. Location is ideal, only a few minutes from the airport. Breakfast was very nice as well. If we ever come back to stay a few nights in Tampa, this would be our hotel of choice.
Great Staff, Latisha, Kennie, Ember were all great, so helpful, and the valet service team was great!
Very cool hotel, so glad we got to try it and if in downtown Tampa, will definitely come back.
