Great place to stay when visiting the lake. The rooms are really nicely decorated, felt modern and spacious. The outdoor space is the real gem of this place, live music, great beer, outdoor games and fire pits. We loved sitting out by the fire on an evening. Also just a very short walk to the lake itself!

The location itself is not exactly picturesque, but the "inn" is very close to Lake Tahoe, so it depends on what you are looking for! The room is equipped with a small microwave and a coffee machine - both were clean (surprisingly considering the room itself!).

So many beautiful places to see!
So many beautiful places to see! We loved exploring several trails and visiting some of the beaches. Some trails and at least one beach are an easy walk from town (Lakeside Beach). For others, you will need to drive (Emerald Bay or Pope Beach). The children loved the beach, hiking up to the waterfall, and playing in the pool and hot tubs where we stayed. (Although we enjoyed visiting the lookout at Emerald Bay and hiking up to Eagle Falls, there isn't much parking in the area so getting there early in the morning is a must.)

Lake Tahoe is a stunning beauty. South Lake Tahoe has a variety of outdoor activities year round. There are a couple of blocks of casinos if you are into that, otherwise skip that area. Traffic is quite heavy most of the year, so pack your patience.

South Lake Tahoe was a wonderful and relaxing vacation. So much to do and see. Lots of hiking trails that allow you to enjoy the beauty of the area, but it also provides great entertainment. We went and saw Nikki Glaser at one of the many casinos. Also, the amount of restaurants at multiple price points that served good food was a pleasant surprise! We recommend both the Sage Room and Himmel Haus. Overall, South Lake Tahoe is a great vacation spot and I would definitely visit again.

Absolutely breath taking. Best time to visit for us is in April. Cool, clean air, plenty of snow on mountains to make it a beautiful view. Friendly people in South Lake Tahoe. Great food experiences's. Big fan of Tahoe. Couple from Lathrop.

It's very difficult to figure out where to go to play in the snow & parking is a nightmare wherever you go. Traffic is bad. The casinos don't even try to entertain you or tease you. The slots just take your money without even stringing you along. The slots totally sucked, especially compared to Indian casinos & that includes all the casinos in South Lake, as well as North Lake.

Was close to all the big casinos so we walked most of the time. Bed was comfy. Sheets were clean. I rated the staff low simply because there is none. The check in is all through texting/emailing which is nice but I still kind of missed being able to speak with someone. The bathroom was really small and so was the shower but that's the only complaint. Hotel was quiet, no yelling or really any outside noise.
Compared to a lot of the other local motels in the area this is a better option. Our family stayed here in the past, & the rooms were very dated, but it has since been remodeled. Location is convenient, walking distance to Heavenly, & casinos. They also have passes for a nearby beach (which is also walkable)for $5 per person per day. The beach usually charges $25 per person. The staff is friendly.
Personally we loved the location. It was not in the super busy area near all the casino's, which was a bonus for us. Lake Tahoe was right across the street, with beach access and there were plenty of restaurants near by within walking distance. The hotel had a pool, jacuzzi and gym on site which were great. We were on the second floor, had a balcony, the room was clean and had good amenities.
This was within walking distance of the Nevada Casinos, and the Heavenly retailers on US 50. The room was quaint and well appointed. It had filament style dimming night lamps with USB charging ports. That something I have rarely seen in more expensive accommodations. For a smaller operation, it has a lot of nice touches. This was the best value in the area.
Location was close to beach, casino, shopping and restaurants. Brewery with live entertainment on premises. Nice little pastry/coffee shop in lobby. Daily passes to the beach. The manager and front desk gentleman were very polite and friendly. Tried to do their best to accommodate all my requests.
Our room was lovely. We had a view of the lake from our room which was beautiful. The room was comfortable, spacious and had a lovely fireplace. Parking was directly outside the hotel which was very convenient. There is also a fire-pit in the evening. It was lovely to sit here and enjoy the view.
This was a nicely renovated hotel right near Heavenly Ski Resort and the action downtown. It was very comfortable and beautifully updated. It was also well-supplied - multiple towels, etc. Best of all, it was so well-priced; super affordable.
I like the location, we were close to all the action in Heavenly Village and the casinos in the Nevada side. I also enjoyed the continental breakfast and coffee. Love that Bagel machine, I was able to toast my Bagels extra crispy.

We were in Tahoe for our wedding and stayed here. We had the best time! Very cool hotel and walking distance to casinos, heavenly village, restaurants, the beach, etc.
The staff was very kind, this was me second week staying & it is worth it if youre on a budget. Its 10/15 minutes walking distance from the casinos & shopping center.
