We checked in on Friday and room was clean and everything fairly new. The breakfast was exactly what we wanted. The location was convenient and near our son's house. Would recommend to other travelers.
There was an issue with several dogs left alone in a room that was constantly barking. We notified the front desk and they got in touch with the owners who came and checked out and took the dogs. Staff handled it perfectly.

I loved the room, it was large, modern with that rustic home feel. The front desk area was beautiful and held cute little shops.

In town for RHS graduation at Barron Stadium. Our son and his family moved there 10 years ago. Rome is beautiful little town that is easy to get around. We visited the historical cemetery and the grandkids were fascinated. Food for graduation party was from Publix and it was great.

I think Rome is a nice town but then I was born and raised here. It is no longer my home but I do come back got different resdons. I would recommend to anyone that might think snout moving here to go for it . It is a nice place to live.

It was a great experience.
It was a great experience. Room was spacious and comfy very clean. We had the first floor it was a bonus to be close to the pool for the kids which was also very clean. Hotel was quiet and the staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Location was great we were here for my daughter’s soccer tournament and breakfast was amazing. Lot of great options were put out and was a great way to start our busy day. I definitely would stay here again

So we were here for a couple of days to visit my daughters...
So we were here for a couple of days to visit my daughters college. We searched for the top 20 things to do in Rome and even surrounding areas but within 30-45 minutes this may be the most boring town you could imagine.
Unless you like questionable museums you are out of luck.
The 'main strip' has some very good restaurants, John Henry for instance has the most amazing salad bar with every possible vegetable and meats. Trust me!

In Floridian Suburbia there are not many trees that are Colossal. Early in the morning just as the fog has lifted you can smell the trees and wonder what they are saying to each other. On the otherhand, the last time I was there housekeeping attended my room daily. My most recent visit, housekeeping never touched my room. I never asked why but I know there is a double standard since the last time I was there.

I always rent a hotel room the week before Christmas to relax & wrap all of our gifts(without kiddos peeking) I Always chose a different hotel each year, but I fell in Love with La Quinta-Wyndham hotels from my stay at the one in Calhoun Ga, the cleanliness, safety, Awesome staff, NO Bugs or Critters, the beds. I Lov💜 the beds! I Love the Calhoun La Quinta because they have recently updated the property. This is good & not so good because I compare all La Quinta properties to the one in Calhoun. This Room in Rome , Ga. was clean, relaxing, safe, only needs a few updates & upgrades, other than that. It was perfect! Unfortunately, I compared these...& Love Calhoun property, by far..
That was the worst experience I had with a hotel. Smell of the room was awful, carpet floor in front of the air wet the entire time, towels dirty as soon as we arrived, hair in the bath tub, toilet dirty… I could not wait to leave this hotel. It’s not worth not even $30 per day. Location is ok, breakfast is worth $5 maximum. Also our door was not closing and we had to call them to fix it (considering that they should check that BEFORE we checking in). Very VERY poor experience. We will never come back.
Met my need for a quick one night stop. It had a very good size TV and refrigerator in the room, which was great.
The location was perfect, being close to the Rome Tennis facility. There are also numerous food and grocery stores close by.
The room was large enough that we each had a chair. The king-size bed was very comfortable. We were glad that there was both a refrigerator and a microwave. Many hotels don’t have both. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.
The property was listed as a 3 star hotel. It was a motel at best and looked abandoned. The lot was completely empty with the exception of a truck doing construction on the property. The motel name was covered by plastic and it looked shady.
The employees need to calm down because they are very bad with people. They got angry for renewing the room key and do not visit that hotel because they want to charge them more and give you a smoking room when you ask room non smoke

I really liked the ambience and the location right in the heart of the downtown of Rome Georgia. room really had a lot of character and was very comfortable. also I really liked the little bar and restaurant.
The staff was accommodating, they tried to search for a crib for us for our son and they provided help with a couple of things we forgot to bring. Breakfast was great and the hotel lobby was very pretty.
Linens were creased. Not sure why?? Perhaps reused?! Bathroom was not clean even though hotel was new. Pretty disappointing. But good location if you need to be close to tennis facility
