Port Clinton is a lovely little town right on the water. Great restaurants, marinas and State Park. We felt very safe there. The people were cordial and the city was clean. Would definitely return.

There is so much to enjoy in Port Clinton.
There is so much to enjoy in Port Clinton. A great little town by the water to stroll thru and have lunch/dinner. Highly recommend the Brickhouse food and service was exceptional! Be sure to try their famous BIG soft pretzel and Lake Erie cocktail!

We stayed at Port Clinton to go to Put-in-Bay and our hotel was walking distance to the dock as well as stores and restaurants and a park on the waterfront. Overall, we had a lovely stay, though parts of the town have seen better days.

I was staying in Port Clinton with my family for a nearby soccer tournament. We did not feel comfortable in the area as there was a lot of riff-raff. When I went to my car in the morning, there were 3 men smoking weed and drinking vodka in the parking lot - at 7 am! Next time I will go back to staying closer to Sandusky.
My family and I came in extremely tired from a fare. We have never stayed with this company before and was unsure if this would be a place to stay the night. After walking inside and meeting Peggy the desk clerk who was very professional and cared about my family comfortability request. Also, the place welcoming. Peggy, cared about us as quest and what we were looking for in a hotel stay. Oh and the location was on point!!
Everything was exceptional and I am glad we found this place. Special thanks to all the staff. Thank You!
Breakfast was good. Had something for everyone in our family. Had to ask staff a couple times for stuff replaced but once they knew it was provided for example more eggs and the trash was full one morning. We also asked for another blanket and extra towels and they was provided promptly. The only thing was they had road construction in front of the hotel which made for late nights and early mornings due to the sound but not fault to the hotel. My kids favorite was the pool!
The location is close to center of Port Clinton without being in a busy street.
The room was well kept. Very Clean ! Kudos to the guy that is custodian there.

The cost for 4 nights was economical . Room is basic and served our needs.

Fantastic location in Port Clinton, literally a stone’s throw from the Jet Express terminal. Excellent and very reasonably priced breakfast in the restaurant.
Minus - Incredibly small room, choice of no air conditioning or having it blow into your face from two feet away. Barely warm water for showers. Altogether, snd for $275 per night, meh.
Very VERY friendly staff, let us check in late, as we weren't able to get there until 1:00 as my husband and I both work late. But THE VIEW😍😍 Oh my goodness, the view!! It was gorgeous!!!! Right on lake Erie, and you could hear the waves crash. SO wonderful!!!! Very close to the heart of Port Clinton, and the Jet Express!
The hotel smelled clean and inviting. The front desk was courteous and friendly. The room was very clean, and everything worked as expected. The place was quiet at night, and it was safe. The vending area had alot to choose from and the lobby was nice and organized and clean.
The Marshall Inn is a super comfy bed and breakfast in Port Clinton. We could walk to the downtown area. It was a short drive to the ferry for Put in Bay. Lovely accommodations and the breakfasts were so yummy. Ed and Victoria are gracious hosts!
Location was great, right on the lake and also a pool to use.

Location and proximity to downtown Port Clinton was nice. Being next to a Wendy's made it extremely comfortable to get a late night snack. Overall, the room and bed were nice and definitely worth the price.
I liked how spacious and how homey the room felt. It was clean, taken care of! The staff was very welcoming and friendly, we shared a few laughs at check in. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in yet.
We went up to fish and needed two beds and a bath. The room seemed recently updated and the price was much less than similar ‘fishing’ hotels in Port Clinton.
