Our room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. This hotel is in a great location. There were many restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very friendly. This stay exceeded our expectations!!

Great small city with character and a beautiful downtown area. It is growing by leaps and bounds and affordable kid friendly place to live and within five years should have most major retailers available a short visit to as well as the airport and a great distance from other college campuses.

We came up to spend the day with my brother and his friends, we was boating and ate at the Back porch on the water. Was awesome but a hour and 20 minute wait for a table. Then a hour to get our food after we ordered. But we had plenty time to talk and spend extra time together. Very beautiful properties on the lake. Lots of boats on the water. The lil island treasure chest for kids was very thoughtful of children.

I booked a room thru booking.com and received my confirmation number and Hampton Inn refused to give me my room that I had already paid for. All they would do was say “We don’t have a reservation listed for you”. I called multiple times and and even went there 2 times and they kept turning me away. I will never recommend them or Booking.com for anything!!! I had proof of the emails and confirmation including documentation of my payment.
It was very easy to access to and from the Interstate. They provided an in-person breakfast. In other words, they didn't give you a bag of "food" worth $3. You had options for breakfast. I greatly appreciate this. It may not seem like much, but I applaud anyone wanting to try to return to a personalized service.
Don't go by my numerical score. I believe all hotels overcharge on the room rates.
The hotel rooms smelled, they are doing construction due to a sprinkler system breaking so be aware of that before you stay, that could be the cause of the smell. My family had to change rooms due to smell and uncleanliness. Overall the location was good.
The staff was friendly and helpful and I was very pleased! The breakfast was great. I just traveled from Texas and stayed at 3 other hotels and no one else had a hot breakfast. Very comfortable bed!
