The staff were super helpful. They remembered us to the room number the first night. Which I’m sure isn’t easy given how many people stay at hotels. The value for the money is amazing. They have more than I’ve seen at any other hotel chain. The food is amazing. And everything was very comfortable and very clean. My husband and I took a trip for our anniversary, and they made us a little cake made out of towels with suckers for our kids to enjoy. They even wrote a sweet card for us. We will be staying there again and telling all of our friends and family.

Property looks like a low rent housing project, dirty stairwells and parking lot. Rooms had kitchen but no utensils, silverware or cups or coffee maker, iron board was filthy, hair dryer broken, iron leaked water. My double room was not available at the last minute before check in and billing got messed up.

I was very disappointed in my room at the holiday inn due to the nonworking toilet, lack of towels when requested,beard stuble in bathroom sink and dirty carpet. I received immediate attention when my first review was sent in for the first time I stayed in the holiday inn (first day of my stay), but things did not get any better when I stayed two more nights consecutively to the first night. I am very disappointed and do not plan to stay at a holiday inn again. I even paid for an upgrade for my room.

Fantastic restaurants and shopping. Love the Town Center shopping area. Also went to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of art. Very impressive!
Favorite restaurant is Jack Stack.
Easy to get around the city; good traffic flow. Live a few hours away and travel here once or twice per year.

The hotel is so conveniently located. Shopping and restaurants are a short drive. We were there for outpatient visit at a nearby hospital which was within walking distance. The hotel looks new, we assume it has recently been updated it is so nice and well kept, which is always good for a sense of security and safety when visiting out of town. DO NOT skip breakfast. Something for everyone and the fresh fruit was a huge plus, the area was clean and well stocked.

The hotel was modern and clean. Everything was up to date, and the staff was amazing. It was such a convenient location. If you have dogs staying with you, they are so welcoming. There is a nice area for them to go potty but it isn't fenced. The rooms that are dog designated are as clean as I've ever seen. They didn't smell like animals had been there. The food at the bar (we arrived late in the evening) was fantastic and the bartender was so kind. Refrigerator in room was a bit small. Overall, I would stay here again without hesitation.

However, due to major renovation, the signage was covered & the parking lot wasn’t paved so we drove around searching for it. The handicapped ramp was split wood, making it difficult. There was a major thunderstorm when we checked out & there were no overhangs so we got so soaked loading the car that we had to change clothes and shoes & make our way to the car again.
Our experience inside wasn’t any better. As a person with disabilities, they not only had ADA rooms available, but we were booked at 2 log hallways from the elevator when we specifically requested close to the lobby or elevator.
Inside the room, there was no printed information regarding meal delivery or tv guide. The bathroom amenities weren’t totally complete. Finally we didn’t receive maid service even when we specifically requested it twice. We had to track down the maid to make sure they cleaned our room and give us the towels we weren’t initially given.
On the positive side, we liked our room, the air conditioning was perfect and we were pleased to see a larger refrigerator in the room.
Booking.com should know more about hotels before listing them - especially for the disabled.
I came in to evaluate the property for upcoming groups - I am an Agency owner and Director of Community Affairs at a Radio Station. The staff was excellent and the room above standard. Additionally, an item of importance was left behind and I called the hotel that located the item and advised if I called Management tomorrow they should be able to ship it back to me.
The staff greeted us warmly and found a room with double beds for us, as requested. We felt welcomed and comfortable. I have stayed here on several occasions, and I'm always happy to stay at this property. Although the hotel was undergoing renovations, we were not inconvenienced.
This hotel is clean and the staff was quite friendly. Easy check-in at front desk. Decor reminded me of a European hotel for some reason. Colorful yet a bit utilitarian(?) I'm in my late 50s - saw mostly 20-30 something business and leisure travelers there. It was great!
Everything!! It was the best place I've ever stayed!! I travel alot and stay in many hotels but this far exceeded the norm! Washer/dryer in the room, very comfortable bed, very quiet, fire pit outside, free coffee and hot drinks, nice kitchen!!
No breakfast. Broken dishwasher, missing remote, didn’t clean our room. There was piss on the toilet seat, dirty dishes and the hotel reception couldn’t help with much even when she wasn’t just talking to her friends at the reception desk.
The location was great. It was right near the highway, but far enough off that it wasn't gross. Lots of great food and shopping choices nearby. The bed was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
I can't say enough great things about this hotel. Everything was excellent from the room and bed to the staff and breakfast buffet (Rosa is a real gem!). Comfortable, quiet, clean, friendly, modern, and can't wait to stay here again!
The rooms are always nice. The A/C works almost too good and gets the room very cold. Rooms are quiet, even when it is at full capacity. The location is easy access to I435 and all of Overland Park.
Room was clean and looked just like pictures on the website. The hotel is currently under construction so a little parking issue. Breakfast was also really good with lots of variety.
