We were staying for the Tyrus show. The convenience of walking to the show without worrying about parking, driving after the show or out in the heat gave us an extra layer of comfort and relaxation.

Norman is a typical college town. We were there for a Celebration of Life. We arrived on Friday, went to the Celebration on Saturday and left on Sunday. It happened to be a home football weekend so we were lucky to get a room at all. We met friends for breakfast at Juan del Fuego. We got there early which was a good thing. By the time we were ready to leave, there were people waiting in line. There are several things to see but we didn't have time.

Great place to live, go to school, raise kids, not exactly a tourist destination except for sports events. Unexpectedly, great ethnic food offerings and many outdoor, community, festival and musical offerings.

This is a college town, and it's an enjoyable stay when you're visiting your college student. Favorite breakfast place is the Neighborhood Jam on Main Street. Also try the Garage for a great burger.

Nice quiet room!
Nice quiet room! Heard a dog barking from a distance the next morning and when I went out in the hall I realized it was in the room next door, so the walls were well insulated! They vary the items on the hot breakfast from day to day, but there is an IHOP right next door. Towels are very large and were plentiful. Lots of electrical outlets for charging, laptops, etc. Overall a great value for the price!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful but we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of our room, pandemic or not. The couch was soiled and there were fingernail clippings. The tables were dusty and not wiped. The bathroom vanity was severely scratched. The toilet worked but hard to flush. There were pubic hairs in the bathtub upon arrival.
Fortunately, the beds were comfortable. After viewing the cleanliness of the room we declined the free breakfast buffet.
We've stayed at other Comfort Inns and for the price we paid we were extremely disappointed with the quality we received.
Loved location to campus, loved design of rooms,
Loved how quiet it was. Room was very clean. Location and niceness of hotel were the biggest pluses. Loved the keurig in the room.
