I stayed at this accommodation over New Years and loved everything about it. My room was beautifully decorated, spacious, quiet, and clean, with a balcony that overlooked the Indian River. Easy access, free parking. Take advantage of the location and walk to the River Park Terrace for a delicious meal, drive no more than 10 minutes to reach New Smyrna Beach, shops and restaurants, 15 minutes to Canaveral National Seashore Visitors Center, 45 mins to Merritt Wildlife Refuge, and about an hour to Kennedy Space Center. Highly recommend.

Great location, steps down onto the beach and a large pool with free towels and ask at the reception for a parasol to help keep you cool. Our room view was sadly out over the car park and road out, but the good points completely outweighed that.

The beach was great , as usual it was clean , beautiful and not too crowded , love New Smyrna Beach . Stayed at the Islander Beach Resort and it was a very nice place to stay , enjoyed the beachfront room , was clean and comfy , nice pool and they had many activities. Will stay again . Had dinner at Bostons Fish House and it was awesome as always , great food and very friendly staff .

New Smyrna Beach is my happy place.
New Smyrna Beach is my happy place. Living in Wisconsin, I prefer cooler weather, but even when it's in the 90's in New Smyrna, it doesn't bother me. There are plenty of hiking trails.
Any restaurant that is on the beach is amazing. Twisted Treat is amazing ice cream - never disappointed. Down by Mosquito Lagoon, there's also JB's. Really good food & kayaking. We got to see dolphins and manatees.
A lot of New Smyrna is walkable, but anything past the inlet you'll need a car.
Avoid Turtle Beach early in the morning, unless you are covered in Deet. Sand fleas are miserable.

Beautiful white sand beach with waves and blue water. Fresh air. Wonderful place to walk, swim or ride a bike on the water's edge. I hear it can get crowded; however, we were there in late November and it was pristine.

We enjoyed the area, however our condo we booked at Ocean View unit #502 was very dirty and had bed bugs so we had to call the property management and wait 3hours for them to place us into 2 separate units which made a very bad inconvenience for our family. with saying that they took $250.00 from our payment however we went there with the purpose of being together and this made our trip miserable. We had to split the coast of food and take it to different units and has made quite the finical burden for our family for our family.

This is a beautiful small hotel. The room and bathroom were so beautiful. The balcony was really spacious. We could bike everywhere. It is away from the beach scene but close to the more interesting things for us, like the museum, Canal St., restaurants, etc. I would love to go back. We had our bikes and it was fun to bike through the lovely neighborhood.
The breakfasts were great, and plentiful! You could have it delivered to your room or eat in the pretty kitchen/bar area.
Lovely wooded neighborhood with a good mix of full time residents and vacationers. The beach is right across the street with a safe crossing path at the main entrance to the community.
The condo itself has a welcoming floor plan that is so spacious. For the same cost of a hotel on the beach you get an entire condo with everything you could need.
Probably the best place to bee in New Smyrna Beach! Charming and very clean rooms with all you need. A fridge in the hallway where you may put some small things. 5 minutes walk to the beach, good restaurnats in the vicinity. Privat parking behind the house. The breakfast was great and the host is just overwhelmingly charming!
well we got to the room we didn’t have the beach view that we saw on the booking pictures. our bed was just a bed sitting next to a wall there wasn’t a headboard . my boyfriend had to use the bathroom while In the lobby there wasn’t a lobby bathroom . the hotel was good I just was placed next to a crying baby all night.

Location was awesome within walking distance to the beach, and other attractions. Breakfast at the Mermaid was great. All the hotel staff were friendly. Judy checked us in, Very friendly and called us when our room was available. Excellent service. The hotel is adorable and well maintained.
We have been here twice and love the location and views from any of the rooms. The rooms are spacious and are wonderfully set up for a family or a couple. View from our balcony is fantastic and quick easy access to the beach makes this the ideal hotel to visit New Smyrna Beach.
We loved our short stay at the Riverview Hotel! We enjoyed a fabulous meal at the restaurant next-door,The Grille at Riverview. Also the free hot breakfast at their little mermaid café. Hoping to get back there for a longer stay!
