everything was amazing the beds so comfy pool was lovely temp with lots of umbrellas for shade if needed. short walk to restaurants and shopping and amazing views of the ocean

Very nice spacious beach. Waves weren't too big or rough, which my family loved for the kids. Beach wasn't crowded except Saturday with day trippers.
Plenty of grocery stores, restaurants and shops near by. We really liked New Smyrna Beach and loved our stay at New Smyrna Waves, right on the beach.

We loved waking up and going right to the pool and ocean.
We loved all the different drinks available and the food menu.
Maybe having an easy breakfast menu served for a couple hours in the mornings for the guests.
One thing I did not care for was that anyone NOT staying at Sea Vista could come and use the pool area… which made it a little uncomfortable for PAYING guests because it got quite crowded.

Great location, steps down onto the beach and a large pool...
Great location, steps down onto the beach and a large pool with free towels and ask at the reception for a parasol to help keep you cool. Our room view was sadly out over the car park and road out, but the good points completely outweighed that.

The beach was great , as usual it was clean , beautiful and not too crowded , love New Smyrna Beach . Stayed at the Islander Beach Resort and it was a very nice place to stay , enjoyed the beachfront room , was clean and comfy , nice pool and they had many activities. Will stay again . Had dinner at Bostons Fish House and it was awesome as always , great food and very friendly staff .

New Smyrna Beach is my happy place.
New Smyrna Beach is my happy place. Living in Wisconsin, I prefer cooler weather, but even when it's in the 90's in New Smyrna, it doesn't bother me. There are plenty of hiking trails.
Any restaurant that is on the beach is amazing. Twisted Treat is amazing ice cream - never disappointed. Down by Mosquito Lagoon, there's also JB's. Really good food & kayaking. We got to see dolphins and manatees.
A lot of New Smyrna is walkable, but anything past the inlet you'll need a car.
Avoid Turtle Beach early in the morning, unless you are covered in Deet. Sand fleas are miserable.

Beautiful white sand beach with waves and blue water. Fresh air. Wonderful place to walk, swim or ride a bike on the water's edge. I hear it can get crowded; however, we were there in late November and it was pristine.

Lovely wooded neighborhood with a good mix of full time residents and vacationers. The beach is right across the street with a safe crossing path at the main entrance to the community.
The condo itself has a welcoming floor plan that is so spacious. For the same cost of a hotel on the beach you get an entire condo with everything you could need.
Beautiful boutique hotel with a nice water view. Easy walk to old downtown with restaurants and shops. Short drive to the beach and the hotel provides towels and chairs if desired. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was top notch. Would definitely stay again!
