We had an amazing time other than the lifeguard trying to take AWAY MY "BEACH TENT" not sleeping tent. I can't be in direct sun exposure I could have a stoke it stop me from being able to enjoy the beach fearing we would be asked to leave the beach I never returned after the first day. The lifeguard stops my husband and I on the first beach day. And because of my health conditions and the lady saying I can't come on the beach with this "lifesaving tent" my children never made it back to the beach they had to just use the resort pool. Our annual family vacation was 6 days and 5nights we were stop on day one.... that sucked really bad for them and me they only 10yrs and 12yrs and both are autistic, so they really fought me about it. Something needs to be done about this that was our main event and the reason invested into the beach style tent. pictures to show you it's not for sleeping it's to small it's made to hide from the UV rays for protection

Unfortunately, when we open the door to our room, we were very very disappointed. It was sit back so far away from the ocean we couldn’t hear the ocean couldn’t hear the waves.
Right outside our door was the drainage system to every air conditioner in the hotel and there’s 13 floors so my asthma kicked in we sweated because we couldn’t enjoy the ocean breeze nor could we hear because of the drainage system which is right that was our balcony was the drainage system? Do not stay rooms 0312-0318. You might get sick

Myrtle Beach has some great people and friendly people. The southern hospitality is amazing. My husband and I have visited two years in a row. We love Broadway at the Beach and going to the local bars. The beaches are peaceful and well maintained with beautiful blue/green water.

we picked a busy week, bike week. we enjoyed our stay but...
we picked a busy week, bike week. we enjoyed our stay but may not stay again in same place. parking across the road. would have rather had out car closer. Unloading for room was crowded and overwhelming but the staff helped direct us. after we needed to move our car to the parking garage across the st. Exit and Entrance was same area, may have been because of bike week. it was a tight fit.

My boyfriend and I came for bike week an it honestly felt like we were in jail the cops had everything blocked off we had to drive several blocks out of the way to get to our room.. the whole atmosphere was different an one of the traffic directors told us that they didn’t do any of the blocking roads or police cars last week when the white people had their bike week. I will never come back here for any holiday.
I usually clean places we stay, and I didn't have to clean anything. Everything was clean and so comfy. I slept like a baby in the master suite. And having a separate bathroom from the teenagers was wonderful. It was a perfect distance from the beach, I didn't want to be right down on the strip. Golf course looked amazing and hoping to come back and check that out. If we come back to Myrtle Beach we will definitely stay here again.
I love that it’s pet friendly! Ever since I learned this bring is pet friendly I haven’t ever looked for another one. This was just our 3rd time staying at a hotel but every time (several years ago at different Myrtle Beach property & years ago in Florida) my two dogs and I stay at LaQuinta.
This hotel was clean, the bed was comfy and the staff was friendly. AND IT’S SO CLOSE TO THE BEACH!

This 2 bedroom apartment was and is one of the best Hotel/vacation rental that we have had on the strip! Oceanfront! In awhile! The hotels amenities completed the stay. Checking info was sent straight to my phone, so there was no wait for check-in
The hotel was clean and well patrolled by staff to ensure a safe stay with my children. I am looking forward, with NOT ONE CONCERN, to stay here on every visit!
The location right on the beach in the historic section of Myrtle Beach was unbeatable and within walking distance of many unique attractions, bars and restaurants. Enjoyed the balcony overlooking the beach. The kids loved the "lazy river" in the pool area. Don't expect a "brand new" hotel, but a comfortable room in a great location with all of the basic comforts.
I have photos to attest to the uncleanness. The only hotel on the strip with football stadium lights that light up the entire beach at ALL NIGHT LONG... its annoying no one wants a 50k watt LED light blaring on them... the only place on the coastline where I saw a massive LED light, change your name to Ocean Sands Lighthouse.
Terrible crowded hotel infested with cockroaches on the floor on the walls kitchen cabinets bathroom everything has cockroaches. Dirty room very dirty. It's disgusting to cook impossible to stay inside the room. lots of dirt and cockroaches. I will not go back to this hotel ever again. terrible
Front staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and kept well stocked by the person taking care of breakfast. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Will stay again if needed to come to Myrtle Beach again. We liked being on the bottom floor.
The room! Oceanfront king suite was amazing. Loved the Murphy bed and private king bed. Loved this room. Awesome views and a full kitchen. Best room on the strip.

The staff were delightful. The room was very clean and cleverly laid out to be a studio with kitchen facilities. The restaurant next to the hotel was exceptional and they honour a 10% discount for hotel clients.
It's OK if you need a cheap place to stay for a night but area around it and facilities not in great shape I would not recommend bringing your family here just pay a few extra dollars and go to a nice hotel
The room needs serious remodeling, hotel location is perfect on the boardwalk few minutes from skywheel, ocean view is amazing, plenty of parking spaces across the street. The Air conditioner is awesome
The staff was very friendly the rooms was clean and in good condition the view was great had a blast I would recommend this hotel for the next time I go to Myrtle Beach again.
I loved how they had waterslides and a lot of pools, including hot tubs. Also the activities that they had for kids to be able to enjoy on their stay here at this hotel .
