Location is perfect if your driving as it’s just off the highway, I wouldn’t recommend here if your using taxis / walking. Hotel was extremely clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and overall really happy.

The location was quiet but within easy walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The newly refurbished pool and spa is excellent size, spa holds up to 8 people and the pool holds upto 20.
They are within the complex so away from roads, the onsite laundry is value for money and requires you to download an app, first wash is free when this is done.
The grounds of the hotel are well maintained and outside seating is available.

Free parking, compared to many of the other hotels in the San Diego area. Our room was very quiet, as we heard almost no one from our room for two days. The included breakfast was more than adequate and did have some protein rather that the high-carb stuff that some other hotels call breakfast. So overall, a great place and a good location for us as well.

I lived in San Diego for 30 years and moved out of state. Every time I come back to San Diego I try to stay at this hotel mainly because of the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the room. It’s also handy to the places I want to go.
The breakfast was excellent. The room was nice and spacious. It had nice access to the freeway and had a Starbucks right next door. Would stay there again for sure. No complaints would highly recommend to anyone that's looking for a great hotel and at an even better price.
Free breakfast was very generous. A refrigerator & microwave in the room allowed for leftover breakfast to be "saved for later", and not wasted, thrown out. Beds were great; super comfy. The hotel location is perfect for all attractions including shopping malls.
The location of the hotel was excellent, very convenient for my work. Overall the staff was friendly, courteous and professional. As I routinely work in this region, I will probably return to this hotel.
The bed was super comfy, and I liked the remodel of the bathrooms for the Holiday Inn Express brand. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, which was a plus after traveling for a few days.
