We were in a room in the new wing and it was absolutely wonderful. The room was big and spacious and it was nice to sit on the balcony and look into the garden. The staff was friendly and the hotel and pool were clean. The pool facilities were tip top.

Beautiful beaches, we have stayed in Kihei 12 times, we love the area. We usually bring our kids and grandkids with us, this was the second time with just the two of us. Great beaches for small kids and inexperienced adults. Great swimming beach.

Kihei has very nice vacation vibes.
Kihei has very nice vacation vibes. However Kihei is a place far from Maui airport. For food and groceries we had to go to Kahului. The drive was 20 minutes. We sacrificed time in favor of location and peaceful community.

I love Maui.
I love Maui. It is so full of lovely things to do: driving, snorkelling, boogy boarding, swimming, sunning, exploring, hiking, taking in hula dancers at Shops at Wailea. The weather is great, blue skies, nice and hot. The people are lovely.
Each town has it's own charms. Kula Lodge and Kula Gardens are fantastic.
You can even get a dog-on-demand from the humane society and give a shelter dog a trip to the beach.
Maui is the best!

Community has a lot to offer. Restaurants and shopping are walking distance away from most condos. Locals are friendly. Plenty of beach and parks. Nice access for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Not overly crowded or pricy. Close to airport, boat launches and other Maui cities. Loved our stay here!

Kihei is the perfect location when visiting Maui.
Kihei is the perfect location when visiting Maui. There are good restaurants, you are typically only steps from the beach. The location is the perfect base for day trips.
I recommend the Paia Fish Market for dinner and Threes for cocktails (the sushi is surprisingly good too!).
It doesn't rain in Kihei either, only 10"/year.
Amazing stay in Kihei! The hosts were so kind and communicative making check in a breeze after a long day of travel. The condo was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. You have a beautiful view of the ocean from the lanai and the beach is right across the street...literally steps away. There were sea turtles in the mornings and evenings during the beautiful sunsets. As someone who typically stays in hotels over vacation rentals, I highly recommend this place and plan to book again for my next Maui vacation!
What we liked - the resort is very thoughtfully furnished to every small detail. The location is great, especially to relax in the private garden after a tiring day. Just that it's not on the beach, however not very far either and all beach activity things like towels, snorkelling stuff even sunscreen cream are also stacked in the store room. The property manager is friendly, prompt in communication and very helpful. We definitely will like to return there for our next Maui trip and recommend as well.
The pool is amazing, the beach is very close and the view was beautiful. There was beach gear and enough towels supplied.
The town of Kihei has restaurants and shops, everything one might need. The unit's kitchen was well equipped for cooking.
As a party of 4, we were happy to find an inflatable guest bed in the unit, which was much more comfortable (and easier to stow) than the sofa bed.
In terms of location, close to everything in Kihei and excellent beach close by. Internally, the apartment was roomy and lacked for nothing, a well-equipped kitchen and extra-wide king size double bed. Also, a BBQ and swimming pool in the complex, plus app-operated shared laundry facilities. We stayed three nights, and the hosts had furnished the apartment so well, it felt just like home.
Everything! Maui Bliss really exceeded our expectations. Plenty of space for our group of 4. Comfortable beds, no noise except for the sound of the ocean. Incredible sunset views from the lanai! The Menehune shores condo complex itself is also really well maintained, and just a short drive or 20 min walk from plenty of shops and restaurants in Kihei. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!
I loved walking the beach, easily accessed by walking across the grass. Saw a sea turtle up close on the beach. Yoga class met close by on the grass. Sunsets were amazing from my patio. Parking my car was easy and free. I volunteered at several places with the intention of helping Mauians recover from the 8/08/23 fires. All good!
Directly on the beach and a short walk to local shops / 5-10mins drive to the centre of Kihei. The building is a little bit dated but our unit had been tastefully refurbished and had everything we needed. The grounds are modest in size but tidy and well-kept. Staff were friendly and helpful with local suggestions.
I have no idea. I rented the condo for two friends of mine that lost everything in the Maui fire. One hour before they were to checkin, I received a notice my reservation had been cancelled. Most unprofessional service I have ever experienced. I would never recommend this service to anyone!

It is much more private than a hotel room, it is like you live there, the beach is very long and not crowded at all, the location is near the town of Kihei, there is a lot going on within just a few minutes. It is a great location.
Condo was right on the beach and very affordable for the area! Includes kitchenette for cooking if desired for a longer stay. Easy check in and out process. Includes folding chairs for sitting on the beach and dining tables to eat.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kuahale Makai. It was a lovely location right on the beach. The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay.
