Very disappointed with the facility, the staff knew about bedbug problem and did not inform guest. Staff was well aware of issue and decided some rooms were cleaner than others, who does that, without getting problem fixed before guest have to discover issue. Carpet was filthy, not sure when the last time it was shampooed. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!!!

KC is pretty cool.
KC is pretty cool. Lots of entertainment options from concert venues to museums, bars and restaurants not to mention all the sports options. I was there twice in the last few months to go to concerts and visited the Federal Reserve Money Museum on one of the trips. Driving around downtown is a little tricky with all the road construction going on but it's not too bad, there are street cars and plenty of public transportation however. Lot's of people walking around downtown for a Thursday night! Some nice parks in the city as well. Not really a destination city but worth checking out if your passing through.

Check in was quick and easy. I love biscuits with sausage gravy and got very excited that they offered it at breakfast. However, I later discovered that the staff opened it from the can and poured into the serving tray. The biscuits and gravy were cold and not heated. Otherwise, the stay was good.

Kc's a great town, lots of great places to eat, drink, and just enjoy yourself. Don't forget to eat at Q39, my favorite bbq in KC. Also try to go and see local live music in this town Samantha Fish is awesome if she's in town, don't miss her.

So beautiful at Christmas on the plaza so many sites and restaurants and shops the view from our hotel when it started snowing was the perfect effect 😍 a very romantic evening. The hotel had a great bar and restaurant, for breakfast we walked to the cup and had great coffee and food was delish.
A truly phenomenal hotel. Reserving it via booking.com was incredibly easy, checking in was incredibly easy, the room/bed was clean and comfortable, the shower/bath were excellent, the towels were soft, the tv had lots of channels, oh boy, this is what every hotel should strive to be like.
I didn’t even take advantage of some of the extras, like in-room coffee and free breakfast, but it all looked good.
Finally, the free airport shuttle was a real life saver.
The host responded rapidly. I prefer locations a bit away from the city and this "apartment" fit the bill. Though not in the heart of downtown, The property was just a short drive to the Interstate. Which can take you quickly into the city. It is in a very central location and very close to shopping. I visit kansas city frequently and hope that this property is always available. I give this property 12 stars out of 10!
we stayed at hotel kansas city last year and we absolutely loved it, we came to watch the superbowl and root the Kansas Coty Chiefs on, so we had to come back and stay here again, the history of the hotel is so intriguing to us, we love the old time feel and the luxury of it all, the hotel lobby bar/food was great and i love the little coffee bar, we will def be back another time
The location was great, very close to downtown Kansas City, right on a bus line, and the price was far below competing properties in the area. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was entirely sufficient for my needs with a few different options provided. Staff were accommodating to a later arrival time than posted. Street parking was easily available.
Perfect location with walking distance to the shopping plaza and restaurants! Clean hotel, nice contemporary remodeled interior, great view and welcoming staff.
Little side note: if there are 3 guests in a room, it would be helpful to supply 3 sets of towels, coffee, etc. instead of default 2.
Also, the lotion bottle in our bathroom was empty.
the hotel was great, rooms were big and clean!!!!! the salt water pool was wonderful! we lived the workout area, there were weights, weighted balls, treadmills, and elliptical machines! the location of the hotel was perfect for us. 15 minutes from kansas city and 15 minutes the other way to visit family!!
This is a gem---surprise hotel in central Kansas City.....recommended by AARP magazine as a unique hotel and it was a surprise from the time you opened the front door.....to the gallery views and the beautiful room ____old hotel with a hot new flare....clever
Location was a bit far to the airport, i can suggest when orient the custom focus olso on the airport location. I never taken the breakfast during my stay because i didn't know when is the starty or end of breakfast. The rest was good in general
Hotel is ideally located close to the Plaza, museums, and downtown. Staff is friendly and helpful. Facility is immaculate. Nice variety of breakfast offerings, including hot entrees.
Well, it was close to the Kansas City zoo..within 8 mins. which is the reason why I booked this hotel. I guess I should have done more research prior to the trip.
