Everything was great but for the price breakfast should have been included. Over $200 a night and no breakfast was too much.

gateway to some of the most magical country, glacier National Park and environs. NOT TO BE MISSED. Kalispell is quaint western town, small but has all the conveniences and close to WhiteFish and Flathead Lake. You won't regret going especially in the Fall and Spring

Now that October has rolled around, there are fewer people but the weather is still gorgeous. Hotel rates are much more reasonable and have more availability. Lots of natural areas surrounding Kalispell (Whitefish, Glacier, Hungry Horse). Many great restaurant choice from local favorites to nationally known brands.

We loved the location and the atmosphere of the hotel.
We loved the location and the atmosphere of the hotel. It's within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. There is a restaurant on 2nd street that has fabulous food. I can't remember the name of it but the desk clerk recommended it. You will have to wait a while but it's definitely worth it.

Kalispell as a destination for Canadian travellers would do well to offer an exchange rate that is better than the banks. As it stands, US is too expensive. We used to see lots of Canadian license plates in Kalispell. Not so much anymore!!

We went there to shop and it certainly had that.
We went there to shop and it certainly had that. Specifically I was looking for quilting material and had checked out ahead of time shops on line.
Some were still there and some weren't but was able to find what I needed (sometimes in surprising places) We ate at Appleby's and the 4Bs restaurant. The 4Bs is very hometown, family friendly food and the staff are the same. I would avoid the hotel we stayed at.!
I can't say enough good things about Greenwood Inn. The place was once a senior residence but now a hotel. The room was an apartment--in other words it was huge. The lobby and eating areas beautiful, including a wonderful glass atrium with tables, chairs and a little fountain. The staff could not have been more helpful and kind. The breakfast offerings were far and away better than the national chain hotels we've been staying in and the laundry facilities were new and FREE! I wish we had stayed for more than one night. It was great!
Our purpose for being in Kalispell was to attend a Big Fork Playhouse production, not to hang out in a hotel room. We just needed a clean, no frills place to sleep and shower. Being half the price of anything I found in town for that day, I decided to try it. It’s a vintage hotel that has been updated as necessary. With soaring gas prices it was a relief to find this place at half the price of the usual chain hotels we have stayed at.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and inviting hotel. The breakfast and coffee were great. Patricia in the breakfast room is a gem! You can tell she loves her job and truly wants visitors to have a great experience to start their day!
The staff at this hotel is wonderful. So friendly, professional and provided excellent customer service. I can't say enough positive comments about the staff; while we did not like the hotel at all, the staff made the stay more enjoyable.
Location is excellent for an early morning flight from Kalispell airport. Front desk staff was very helpful with suggestions for eating places. Only spent one night but wish we had the chance to enjoy more that the hotel had to offer.
The air conditioning was broken for 3 weeks and they did not notify us. It was 32 degrees and we were on a top floor with no air. We went to open the window and the screens were missing and so no way to lock them. The hotel was a dive.
The air conditioning was great. I slept very well. There are no amenity fees. Some hotels have ac which is subpar and charge inappropriate surprise fees in addition to the listed rates. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains.
This hotel was very reasonably priced so I didn't expect much, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and parking was adequate and well lit. The location was a short drive to almost anything I needed.
Comfortable beds, good advice on where to eat outside the hotel for dinner. Very helpful at checkin as they gave us a ground floor room. An overall great road trip hotel.
