It’s a great town!
It’s a great town! They have plenty of places to walk around at the mall with the sky walk that connect to the convention center and hotels. Both me and my husband would tell you that they had the friendliest homeless population we’ve ever seen and the weather was amazing during our day.

We stayed for 3 nights.
We stayed for 3 nights. It was race weekend so bookings were slim. It would have been about $240 any other time but because it’s race week end we paid almost $800. We knew this ahead of time.
My problems were how dirty the room was. I took pictures! They never came near the room. I mean no trash was emptied, no clean towels were left. I found a cart and took what we needed. They never made the bed. That I don’t mind I made them everyday myself.
I will not go back to that place again. Also the breakfast consisted some waffles and some mini muffins. That was it!

Oh my goodness! What happened to this motel chain?
Oh my goodness! What happened to this motel chain? It used to be trusted as a comfortable place to sleep. No frills. But now I never plan to stay at one again. Half the place was condemned, No elevator, though we were on the second floor. The rooms reeked of cigarette smoke and just plain filth. Windows had no screens yet opened wide so small children could jump/fall out. Individuals from the homeless community overran the place. There were solicitations of drugs and prostitution going on in the parking lot. The morning after our (thank god) only one night stay, I found my gas had been siphoned from my vehicle. The only reason we did stay was we booked it ahead of time and it was not refundable.

I attended the Indy Pop Con with my daughters and we had a great time. We had to check out a day early because of my job. We really enjoyed our stay. We checked in and done some shopping and the mall is great . I was really impressed with The Red Roof Inn because it was very quiet and that was what we wanted. Thank you for a great vacation.

Indianapolis is a rather quiet city.
Indianapolis is a rather quiet city. It doesn't have the hustle and bustle of a New York or Chicago. However they have a cultural area in the city with many attractions for tourists: museums, a zoo, parks, and a lovely canal on which you can rent a paddle boat or travel on a Venice-like gondola. It's a very sports-oriented city with little emphasis on classical art or music, or modern art for that matter. But I was only in Indianapolis for two days, so I may be missing a lot. I'd say it's worth visiting for a few days.
Very comfortable Suite - Room 903. Large lovely bed, two televisions, kitchen equipped with sink, microwave and fridge/freezer. Large very clean bathroom - sink, toilet and shower. Breakfast was delicious. Shahrukh - great guy - Receptionist told me about the zTrip car service which I used for all my travels to different locations during my stay in Indianapolis. Lady called Nita - working on the floor level - with all the hotel guests - was very friendly, helpful and professional.
NOTHING because I ended up having to leave because the room had not been cleaned and they could not find anyone to clean it. BUT, I will say that the Cozy Suites staff I was communicating with by phone did their best to try to resolve the situation in Indianapolis from their location in another state. They also did exceptional work securing a refund for me when I had to go to a different hotel that I found myself that evening. So, KUDOS to the Cozy Suites staff.
The hotel is in a beautiful building and has cozy decor in the lobby. The rooms are nice with comfy beds and nice toiletries (the Omni partners with Nest and the shampoo and body wash were "Sicilian orange" which smells amazing). There was plenty of space in the room for two of us and our bags for the Indy 500. The hotel location is very central to Indianapolis and the city is pretty walk-able. The valet was easy to use as well.
Breakfast was okay. Manager and employee having a not-so-appropriate conversation right by the tables where my 4-year-old and I were eating. Besides that, the staff was wonderful and attentive to everything though. We received a ride to and from the airport no problem, the hotel was not overly busy. For having no idea where I was in Indianapolis, I felt safe and comfortable for the 1 evening I needed before going home.
It is just what I was looking for. Large room with microwave and mini fridge and an office space. Henry the day shift front desk is very nice and warm. There is a key card for each room plus an indoor security door guard. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who would like to stay in a quiet and safe place in Indianapolis.
I liked all, was a pleasant stay. The location is very good, next to Union Station. Beside it's downtown, and in walking distance to Circle Monument, Circle Mall, and the River Walk. Many restaurants nearby. The staff was really very helpful.
The room was nice. The hotel is something special, very big, and interesting.
The Tru is located close to the downtown area of Indianapolis, just a couple of hundrets of meters walk. The rooms were clean and comfy and had everything you need. You get 24/7 coffee and it has a small gym. Overall, it's a "cheaper" option to the high-class downtown hotels and still super close.
Great location. Downtown and within distance to so much, including 4 blocks from Lucas Oil Stadium. Super great rooms! Love the size. The bed was SO comfy. Nice view of the city as well. Very nice staff. Love the art work all over the hotel, even in the parking garage.
They are making upgrades to the hotel. The lobby is beautifully done, and it looks like they are trying to improve other areas as well. Check in and check out was very efficient. The room was nice. The bathroom was nice. Overall, it was a great value for the price.
Staff was excellent. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. Facility was clean. The hotel location is excellent with many amenities and activities within walking distance. We felt safe in downtown indianapolis.
The old interior and historical elements of this hotel was the best plus. I did some exploring inside the Inn of different rooms and artifacts. The park being so close is also a huge plus and nice and welcoming staff. Will definitely be back!
The bed was clean and comfortable. The lobby of the hotel was beatiful and we loved seeing all the art. The views of the lobby were nice. It looked like a nice place to have a conference or speakers.
Excellent customer service on the front desk and the hotel location is ideally close to the airport. No messing about with a vehicle parking pass here - free parking means free parking :)
This was so much better than staying in corporate style hotels. Friendly welcome. Homecooked cookies and and a really nice breakfast rounded off an enjoyable stay.
