The bed was so comfortable that I missed the breakfast because I was sleeping so well.

The pool was awesome and I had it all to myself. The room was plain, nothing fancy but the the bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. I loved the handicapped bathroom. It made me feel safe since I traveled a loner. They should vacuum behind the headboard with a crevice tool is my only recommendation.

Downtown restaurant was great, and hotel provided a free drink coupon. (we went twice!) Hotel is more than a mile from downtown, but it is an easy drive and we enjoyed a drive through residential area with stately 100 + year old homes!

Issues with security, clnot to brag abouteanliness and no milk at breakfast. Coffee was not fresh brew , vending machine dirty and took my money!
We had to stop in this area to get some rest while driving from Dallas to Austin, and we found this Hotel. Check in was fast and room was clean. Beds were fine, we were able to get a good sleep. Honestly I did not check for any other services like breakfast, we were just looking for some place to sleep and continue early the next day, and this Hotel was good. There was a McDonalds right next to it, so we just grabbed something from there and moved on.
This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The staff was rude and useless. I went to the office to buy 2 cokes at 1.00 each. Pulled out 8 quarters which they refused. Who does that??? We were there 7 days and they never asked if we needed towels toilet paper soap new sheets nothing. They didn't even have a coffee maker. Pitiful horrible dirty place to stay. I wish you had negative numbers on the 1-10 scale cause they would get a -10.
I travel around the USA very often. This hotel surprised me a lot! The workers are wonderful! With 10 points I will give them 100! Everyone is very friendly and always ready to help. My room was $ 65 per night + free breakfast. The room is clean! The beds are comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel.
The location is convenient for family visits. On Friday, October 8th, my husband and I arrived at the Holiday Inn Express in Hillsboro, TX, around 5:30 pm. Checkin was easy and quick, and the front desk person was friendly. Little did we know this would be the highlight of the trip :-/
We didn't even stay. The hotel was very sketchy and smelled of cigarettes. We walked into the room and left after 2 minutes. There were roaches everywhere. Looked like a good place to get trafficked. The front desk clerk was really nice and apologetic. Gave me a refund right away.
The hotel is remodeled and it looks good and it seems clean. But we did find a roach and we are really hoping we are not bringing anything gross like that back with us. We told the front desk person but she didnt remedy the situation and didnt apologize at all.
Convenient hotel located right by the highway and next to many fast-food restaurants, which is comfortable if arriving late as we were. In terms of style and comfort, just what you´d expect from a Holiday Inn, no more, no less.
