Booking in/out was perfectly easy. All the staff from reception, breakfast, pool/maintenance to cleaning seemed like they couldn't do enough for us. The price was pretty competitive compared to some, but we still had an amazing breakfast which a lot seem to leave out to save money. Our breakfast choice was waffles of 2 flavours, eggs, sausages, fresh fruit, yoghurt, breakfast rolls, breakfast pastry selection & cereals. The pool was great & was cleaned every morning from leaves etc. Fresh towels were available for pool use. The whole place was spotless everywhere. Room was very nice & bed/pillows were great. Fridge was a good size & was on before we arrived which is always nice. Nice to have a microwave (not used), a full sized ironing board & iron.

Least, no breakfast included, no coffee in lobby, the provided bulk bottles of various bathroom products I felt unsafe using them..single use soaps etc more sanitary. More tamper proof. Who used them last, did they have a disease transmittable through touch, could they have put a foreign substance in a bottle?. As a medical professional, I would not, did not use the community bathroom products.

We got recommendations from the hotel staff for places to eat that served “bar food” and they gave us choices and described the differences. They suggested a brewery that we then visited for dinner.
It was a wonderful place, friendly staff and very good food. There were healthy choices for me and the burger my husband liked.

Great scenic driving! Lots of place to enjoy. If you have kids, the driving is probably not for them since most of the roads are curvy and hilly, they'll get nausea for sure! The roadways signs are sometime not shown in advance, and sometimes roads don't look like roads. We missed many turns due to this.

It was awful!! Didn't get the room I booked!! Needed disabled room, no hand rails at toilet or the bathtub. Walls in shower/bathtub was really dirty!! No hair dryer, so I didn't get to wash my hair! No clock in room! Bathtub was really small for handicap!!! The ice container had something black in it!! Furniture was in poor condition. My boyfriend hurt his stomach trying to get out of bathtub!! Only had 1 working lamp in room! Just a really bad room for the price!! Never will stay there again and I'll tell others to Not stay there!! Left before time to check out!! So PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE!!!!
This is a very convenient location for anyone traveling on I-40 and/or visiting the Hickory Furniture Mart. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast also offered more substantial fare than many hotels. Besides the usual fresh waffles, they also offered other hot foods such as sausage, biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, and grits. The person checking me in, Don, was also extremely friendly and welcoming.
This Place very very expensive compared to other hotels and it really wasn't much cleaner I would say it's average and I always heard they were the best (Boy) was I wrong never again will I pay that price for a hotel and honestly Booking.com I have now booked 3 times through you and all three times the hotel room ranged from horrible to just under average, I probably won't never use you again
The breakfast was good and the good staff was excellent. The desk staff left a little to be desired and the hotel wasn’t at all as nice as 90% of the others in the chain. They didn’t replenish the coffee in the room and the coffee Keurig didn’t work right. Told the desk and expected to see a replacement but that didn’t happen
It was nice that there was a restaurant beside our hotel and we didn't have to drive to get food. The front desk employee at check-in was friendly and helpful. Upon checking in, he was able to put us into a non-smoking room as we had originally requested but had been assigned a smoking room.

The room was quite, it was on the opposite side of the freeway. It had everything. A bit on the smaller side for all 4 of us, but it was manageable. The parking on the back of the hotel was great with easy access on the second floor.. The elevators worked great!

It was clean, quiet and the shower was great. I am disabled and many hotels have tub shower combos that are difficult for me but this shower was super easy and plenty of room. Also the staff were great, and very friendly.

We stay at the Crowne everytime we visit Hickory,NC. That has been alot the past 3 or 4 years. We moved from another hotel to the Crowne because of the reviews.
Room was very clean, and it was great having Starbucks coffee in the morning! Breakfast was better than most hotels, not as a good as a cafe or restaurant.
