The staff was very helpful and attentive, held the door for me every time I came or went from the rental office. The room was clean and pressed and well maintained. The soaps were a little small to share among 3 people, but we still had our showers and washed our hands. If you don't want to drive back to another state after a full day at Hershey Park and want a decent room for a decent price - your REALLY SHOULD CHOOSE Roadway Inn and Suites.

Hershy park was great but the food was terrible.
Hershy park was great but the food was terrible. The chicken fingers were hard. The French fries were cold and not tasty. The pizza was disgusting. It tasted like cardboard. We should have eaten at Chick fil a.

We went for the Gardens, the Butterfly Atrium, and the Hershey Museum, all of which were great and well worth the modest entrance fee. Not at all crowded and the gardens were absolutely gorgeous- not only the flowers but the trees as well. The butterflies were a treat - so beautiful. But in addition there were some interesting exotic critters in cages as well.
Chocolate World was an absolute zoo, chockablock with visitors, very commercial and not worth the visit. We did not go to the Amusement Park, but the roller coaster looked absolutely huge and awesome!!

I loved Chocolate World the most (but then, I’m 71 and not the target audience for thrill rides). The ride through the model factory was fascinating, and the singing cows were such fun! The gift shop was great - truly something for everyone, at all price ranges. The employees were outstandingly helpful and courteous.
At the Park, I liked the monorail ride and the ample seating at the Waterpark where I could relax and watch the grandkids play.

So many attractions, the gardens were wonderful.
So many attractions, the gardens were wonderful. Hershey park expensive, however the water park was awesome. Driving to attractions was well marked. The local stores were great. The dollar store was a highlight. (so many things my local doesn't have)
I would research all the attractions better. So many, that were less ex

We love Hershey.
We love Hershey. It's a clean, friendly city with a lot for families to do. We spent 3 days at Hersheypark, which is fantastic because the ticket includes entrance to the zoo and aquatic show, too. We paid extra for our daughter to feed a sea lion! Be sure to eat at the Chocolatier restaurant, it's amazing. We also enjoyed our second visit to Indian Echo Caverns and Toys on the Square, a giant toy shop with unique items. There is a ton more for families to do in the area that we didn't have time for. We will definitely visit Hershey again.
The location was perfect for a very short, easy drive to Hershey Park and it was right on the main drag of town with plenty of choices for eating. We especially loved Duck Donuts which was just a very short walk from our room. The room was nice size with comfortable beds and a fridge/freezer. The room was clean and the workers were friendly.
