The hotel is located in a very cute neighborhood. Fort Collins is very lovely and we usually only drive through to Wyoming when we go to visit our family. It was delightful to stay in such a lovely historic hotel that we could walk to shopping and food. I am sure there was much more to check out but we were there only for the night.

Do not stay at the Clarion. It is filthy.
Do not stay at the Clarion. It is filthy. They have no breakfast even though they have a digital sign outside showing a full breakfast buffet. Also they are false advertising on their website and on Booking.com
The price states breakfast included. We booked this hotel mainly for the breakfast (for 6 of us)
We unfortunately booked 2 rooms here (111 and 103) They smelled like wet dirty dog. Filth an inch high under the bed and holes in the wall. Bed linens smelled.
Area was not a very safe area and there was a lot of noise all night,.
Save your money and stay elsewhere.
VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Fort Collins has anything a person could want out of a big city. However, I love what's west of FtC. The mountains are calling! Hike up Horsetooth, till you get to the teeth! Then head down for brewery beer, I like Zwei brewery. Great family owned place!
Any place on College is great for food! Any!
As a disabled veteran, always feel this city is kind to me.

Fort Collins is overpriced and congested.
Fort Collins is overpriced and congested. Very hard finding parking downtown as well. We ate at Rodizio Grill and it was ok but not worth $100 for the 2 of us on a Thursday night. Service was very slow, salad bar was eh and the appetizer was very bland. We stayed at the Clarion Inn and Suites just off I-25 and I'm just going to give it a big fat F. They have so much false advertising. They don't present it online as a motel and the online photos look very nice, just like the Clarion Inn we stayed at in Grand junction. The fact is its severely run down located in an area I'd never ever walk in. The hotel room was filthy and the plastic tub was broken, the bed frame was broken, the desk has a huge Crack and the lamp shades are torn. Next door the drapes are so worn and the back is peeling. When we pulled up we had to look close because it looked like a crime scene, but it was just really old dirty drapes. I have never stayed in fort collins and we were on our anniversary so needless to say, we didn't stay much time in the motel. Just to sleep.

Fort Collins is a fun town with enjoyable restaurants, bars, strolling, and shopping to fit any budget. It is close to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and if you drive for just over an hour you'll be inside Rocky Mountain National Park. Go to Horsetooth Reservoir and open space, go rafting down the nearby Cache La Poudre River, eat & drink beer at New Belgium brewing, grab coffee and breakfast at Mugs, walk through the Flower Trial Garden by CSU, pick your own berries and wildflowers at Garden Sweet!
First room they sent us too was completely torn apart beds far from the wall and paint and mud all over the room. The place advertised breakfast but didn’t have any. The entire hotel smelled like sewage. Pool was almost green. Should be able to smell chlorine atleast!! Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There were cigarette burns in our sheets. We brought our own blankets and pillows in and out them on top of the bed. No fridge. Whoever bought that place needs to get it fixed up or don’t let people stay there.
The staff was friendly and professional, they answered all our questions we had. The room were very clean, and something I loved that you don't get at other hotels is how quiet the room was. The location of the hotel is also great, close enough to everything but away from auto and foot traffic on the main street. Next time I travel back to Fort Collins I will consider staying there again. I would recommend the Elizabeth hotel to anyone looking to stay at a clean and quiet place.
Location, location, location! It was walkably right next door to a great Denny's breakfast and to a fabulous Mexican restaurant for dinner. It was only about an hour's beautiful drive up to Estes Park, gateway to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Fort Collins isn't that far from Denver, and the accommodations there are much cheaper than at the DIA motels. By the way, there is a great RTD train from DIA to Union Station in downtown Denver for just $10.50 one way.
We travel to Ft. Collins every year and we usually stay in a different hotel, but this one was a little less expensive and we were traveling with some folks who needed something less expensive. So if you are looking for just a place to lay your head this is not a bad choice. The location is good for quick access downtown without being in the middle of the hustle.
We are returning guests since years. Love the motel style, the nice facility, the spacious rooms, the guest laundry. They improved some things.
Mostly very nice and helpful staff. Especially the guy who was every day at the counter and also checked us out.
And I still love their baby pancakes machine.
There's an elevator ever since I can remember.
The area is perfect for a stay in Fort Collins, walkable to many bars, restaurants and venues in the area. We have stayed her twice and both times the staff have been fantastic. The text service they provide to be able to conveniently make requests is great, and the front desk are always super helpful. The rooms are nicely decorated.
We missed breakfast, but enjoyed the pool and hot tub the night before. Both looked inviting and clean—no weird buildup around edges like some other hotel pools.
Also, we lost track of time in AM—amazing what happens when kids away—and front desk staff was kind enough to extend check out time to 11:30. Thanks!!
As said in another review, we try to stay at Home2Suites when possible, and this was no different. We were in Fort Collins to move our rising sophomore CSU student out of their dorm. The location, room size, and close proximity to campus and restaurants was wonderful.
Breakfast was the best part of this motel experience. The breakfast room was well-stocked and very clean. In all this hotel was the only reasonably priced one from Fort Collins to Laramie, Wyoming so we were grateful to be able to stay here.
The accomodations were fine for one night for graduation. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We appreciate the hospitality in letting us get ready in the conference room when our room wasn't ready for early check-in.
Hotel was exceptionally clean. Room was spacious and comfortable. Quick access to major interstate and just a few miles from downtown Fort Collins. Perfect location for activities in both Denver and Estes Park.
