You can tell the owners care for the place and invest a lot of love in it. The room is quite big, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast is coffee, waffles and homemade biscuits.

Florence is a great little town , better than what most think. Lincoln city and Newport are the bigger ones most go to but Florence has cute little restaurants, down town shops are adorable closer to the docks and beaches are not crowded. Driving distance from a lot and affordable accommodations at hotels or vacation rentals. Great scenic drive from Eugene area. Lots of camping spots and hikes close by. Fred Meyer grocery , ice cream, breakfast(Brown Hen Cafe was out favorite ) , coffee spots by the main road through town. Down town has weekend markets , unique restaurants ( we tried the Waterfront Depot =great food *reserve an a spot early) and shops ( one even had a Harry Potter wand shop section with tons to select from in little boxes like in the movies) .

Came to look at houses in various towns!! Sea Lion Cave was interesting. The Pancake Mill is a great place to get breakfast. Of course it was raining a lot so it was not the time to go shopping and looking at other places...but we will be back when the weather is better!!

The Waterfront Depot restaurant shouldn't be missed but get a reservation. The food and service are top notch.
Traveler's Cove has really good Mexican food. The ambience is fair but there is a nice view. Great service.
The Restobar restaurant should be avoided. The food is terrible, and the ambience is ok if you like batting flies away from your food. The service is below average.

There are really only 2 options to say in Florence Old Town.
There are really only 2 options to say in Florence Old Town. Both are right next to Old Town. I have chosen Old Town Inn for both of my stays in Florence. I really enjoy Florence Old Town; it is right along the banks of the Suislaw River. Cute shops and restaurants abound. Many a harbor seal to be found in the river. If you get tired of the river, and Old Town, don’t fret…the sand dunes and the ocean are just on the other side of Hwy 101. Florence is a larger Oregon Coastal Town; therefore if you need something the quaint shops of Old Town cannot provide, Florence has you covered. Florence is also just over an hour away from Eugene, and Newport (Yachats is only 25 min away). Will you enjoy Florence? Absolutely!

I have always loved Florence.
I have always loved Florence. The Old Town has lots of good restaurants and shopping. It's very relaxing and is nice and cool in the summer! There is a really nice nursery on the north end of town and you can drive around the countryside and looks around.

Sea Lion Caves were worth the price! Old Town is a must!
Sea Lion Caves were worth the price! Old Town is a must! Darlingtoniia Preserve was a quick 5 minute adventure. Too much to do in a short trip! Lovely town, but very, very windy when hot in the valley.
The situation of this hotel was fantastic. Right on the shore and facing west . Every room can watch the sunset which when we were there simply beautiful. Although quite a large facility there is miles of wonderful sandy beach and dunes to explore. The rooms are well appointed and have balconies and chairs to sit and watch the scenery. It was a thing memories are made of.
There’s no getting around it, this hotel is in need of refurbishment. But any shortcomings here are more than made up for by the attitude of the staff. John on reception, is the consummate professional, going well beyond my expectations to help me out when I had a transport problem. I really can’t praise his attitude highly enough - whatever they’re paying him isn’t enough.
Convenient location. Owners in middle of sprucing up this older motel. Painting, new lock sets and other things happening
The staff was very nice
Loved being within a couple of easy walking blocks to a very quaint old town on the water. Loads of eatery’s and coffee places available.
Pet friendly was the reason for choosing this motel
wonderful wooden floor, no carpet and it's just beyond praise for a hotel next to the beach where there are wonderful sand dunes and of course you bring sand into your room no matter how you shake it off and usually it's a big problem with the carpet. And here it's just wonderful , and in the room and in the corridors just the floor.
Beautiful location right on the beach. Great for taking long walks. Lovely sunsets! Clean, comfortable room. Full kitchen stocked with all of your basic kitchenware. Pool and hot tub facilities were clean. Hotel store stocked with snacks, gifts, and liquor. Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood outside of town.
Location near the beach, pet friendly, and cool house design. Beds were very comfortable. The house could easily sleep 6 adults and 2 children. Nice wrap around porch. Note bring non BLU ray DVD's so you don't use as much band width streaming. Hot tub is a nice option, but please provide PH test strips.
Although there are few amenities, the Landmark Inn is basic, simple, and very pleasant. It was absolutely quiet at night, and the inn is in a good location - within walking distance from Old Town. This will be our go-to place when we come to Florence again.
We loved that the hotel was connected to the casino and not having to walk outside when it was raining. The rooms are very clean and the beds were so comfortable. We also loved all of the variety of foods as well. Great fine dining restaurant on site.
Consider they are remodel the stay was great. Pet friendly grassy area for pets. Reasonable pet fee plus service dogs are free. Friendly host. Clean on account they remodel stage. We will back. Hoping for Sept
Clean spacious home for our group of 5. The host had excellent communication. We would choose this place again for our next visit to Florence. Thank you for a great stay!
The beds were very comfortable (soft). The widescreen TV was better than most I've seen in other hotels. It was very quiet. Super close to Florence Old Town.
The room was very clean and did not smell like pets. It was a pet friendly room , which I would not have known if the staff hadn't said something to me.
