My husband has Parkinson’s and his forced to utilize a walker. They were able to offer a handicap room that allowed enough space to accommodate the walker. The bathroom was just fabulous. You could get in with the walker and had enough room that I could also get in there if I needed to, the end of the hall so that he could limit the steps from the car to the room. They were extremely accommodating people.

It is in a good location if you want to explore the mountains of North Carolina and the many waterfalls nearby. The golf course setting is quiet and serene. We enjoyed our short stay there. There are restaurants nearby and groceries available.

About half way between Brevard and Henderson makes it a great area to stay even if you aren't going to play golf, and at a very reasonable price compared to area hotels.
