The common areas and room were clean and smelled nice. The beds were ok for one night, but a bit firm for me for much longer. The location of the hotel is perfect for a short shopping trip to Erie. We would stay again, if not for the following...

My family and I love visiting Erie every chance we can get away for awhile. It's our home away from home, our favorite place to relax, and enjoy all the amenities, and adventures that await us on our journey.
We love Presque Isle beaches, we love the people, we love the scenery and we especially love when the weather is in our favor. 🌞 🏖
We visited Splash Lagoon and Waldemeer Park/Water World 🎡🎠🎢🍿🌊🌎
Recommend visiting on a weekday to avoid big crowds and less wait times.
Looking forward to our next trip real soon!

I'm always just passing through for a night on my way to Chicago from Boston, but I do get to go into town. There's a great bar/restaurant called Room 33 Speakeasy; excellent choice of beverages and food. For lighter fare head to Lucky Louie's for some superb gourmet hotdogs. In the morning head downtown to the Tipsy Bean or Ember and Forge for some good coffee.

There's lots to do in Erie,,I love the beach,it's great for little kids,, splash lagoon is nice for all ages,, however I think it's a little pricey,,,lots of shopping areas,,, winery's,,, beautiful scenery out by the lake,We drove into New York to the Indian reservation and bought cigs,,10$ a bag in which equals a carton,, hubby's snuff is 17$ in Pa it's almost 30,,, Gas was 3,15 a gallon...yep I filled up!!

We went in the deep of winter to experience the lake and do some hiking. Erie Bluffs State Park and Presque Isle State Park were really nice without people and bugs of summer. Everyone we met was very nice and welcoming. I loved the multi-ethnic vibes, food places, neighborhoods, and waterfront of Erie. I was invited to attend an Eastern Orthodox service at a cool little church on Sunday morning as I walked around some of the older neighborhoods. The people and the church were beautiful. The Maritime Museum and walking by the working ship yards was very cool.

We travel to Erie previously quite a few times there was our first time staying at this hotel had I had more time off work I would have liked to stay longer maybe not at this hotel itself. Me and my spouse took our kids to Splash Lagoon which was excellent very tiring we ate at Smokey Bones which was amazing everything was real close to the hotel which was good. I would just recommend that hotel stating that there's no microwaves in the room.

We loved Presque Isle.
We loved Presque Isle. We spent some time walking the trails. The layout of the city is good, so you can find your way around easily. The zoo was a disappointment. You can tell, they are working on it but it still is a sad situation.
Wow! Not enough space to write it all! This has been one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced! Great accommodations - so clean and well cared for, friendly employees from the welcome to the breakfast to the check out!
What I will say is that in this time where people are short staffed everywhere, it speaks volumes about your team and company that folks have worked here for 20 years! And that loyalty shows in how I saw them treat guests and each other! When visiting family here in Erie, I will always stay here at this Hampton Inn.
The service we received was above excellent. The front desk manager, Ramesh, took very good care of us. While this is an older property, you can tell they have been updating the rooms and facilities. We got a real, hot breakfast with a wide choice of food. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Erie. There was plenty of parking in the garage, so it was an easy trip by elevator up to our room without being exposed to the elements. We won't stay anywhere else in Erie from now on.
The bed was very comfortable, nice pillows, room was clean, housekeeping was excellent, no perfume smell which there was in the last couple of hotels we have stayed in. All staff were friendly There was a nice hot breakfast in the mornings and coffee made at all times.!! We will be back for sure!! It's the best we have stayed in for a while and very good value.
Chris is an amazing host. Dedicated to ensuring guests have a great time during their stay and responsive to any queries. He really goes “above and beyond.” This stop on our road trip was charming and perfectly suited to our needs. 4 minute walk from the Seawolves ballpark. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Chris.
We traveled from Utah to Maine, and this was our favorite hotel along the way. The staff was beyond friendly, our room was large, and there were plenty of breakfast options. Best of all, they had no problem with my mastiff staying. The staff loved seeing my sweet, giant pup. I would gladly stay again.
The staff at the hotel was helpful and kind. Another notable thing was breakfast. There were waffles, eggs every day, corned beef hash one day and sausage gravy another day. In addiition to the normal continental items. Location was very convenient to Lake Erie, Presque Isle and many other places.
Very friendly staff! They were welcoming and amenable, I believe it makes a big positive impact when you arrive at a hotel and the staff is friendly, welcoming, and carefully listen to you. I also enjoyed the very cheap price and the easy access to the highways around the property.
No signs of dust; my husband and I have been in other hotels that we have an allergic reaction to the amount of dust blowing around- especially when the AC kicks on.. but not here. The pool is the best feature. Comfy beds and pillows. Clean lobby. Good breakfast.
The room was spacious, great shower
Nice swimming pool and good gym
Nice staff, could check in earlier if room was available , great hotel.
Also had a beer garden, though we didn’t check it, it seams nice
Hotel room was better than my last experience. The room was clean and we had plenty of room Staff was very polite. Breakfast was very good. Only stayed because of the location to where we needed to stay.
i did not like a single thing at this horrible place. there were drug addicts and crackhead roaming the hotel. my wife and i were scared to stay there. another guests car got broken into that same night.
Bed was comfortable and clean, bathroom was also clean. when I turned up at the hotel the receptionist was very helpful. More than good enough for a stop over and a good sleep.
The hotel was on Lake Erie, so you either had a view of the lake or the marina. The rooms were large and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
