This hotel is in a very convenient part of town, very close to restaurants and highways ( toll ) was there for a Notre Dame game and the hotel was pretty close to the university. The staff was very friendly, helpful and always had welcoming smiles. Nothing too fancy about this hotel, but it provided what i was looking for during this night stay prior to a game. I would recommend this hotel.

The price was inexpensive, which we only needed a place to sleep so this worked out well as we didn't expect the extra expense. The best thing about this property - THE INDIAN GUY!!! He is so delightful, happy, forthcoming, thee best customer service I have ever had anywhere!!!

This is an excellent hotel.
This is an excellent hotel. Old historical building with lots of updates. Very clean and HUGE rooms. They have 2 great restaurants and a bar with very friendly staff also. They are very accomodating. We went to a concert that was literally next door to the hotel. The only thing that I didn't like was that the parking garage was right next to the hotel but you still had to pay $15.00 to park in it. Why not just include that into your room rate? But honestly this hotel is a gem. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

With out a doubt Baymont in Ellkart is a 5 star. Don’t let the low price fool you. I travel extensively and this has to be in my top 5. The young man who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and neat. Then there was a delicious breakfast waiting for us. Nice choice to pick from. Everything look good and it was. The biscuits taste like they just came out of the oven. The area was overseen and Continuously being restocked and wiped down. Kudos to the staff!!!

I liked nothing about this trip! I reserved a room and it was not in their system so I had to buy a room on site. The room was not clean when I checked in. And I was charged twice for it! I'll never stay here again and I'll tell everyone I know not to stay their too!

You can walk everywhere and anywhere. Everyone is so welcoming and nice, you can never go wrong. So many restaurants,thrift stores, stores, shopping outlets and then there's so much things you can do you can't sit still! You got trolleys and scooters, Ubers and such.. I loved shopping at Ross with my friends and eating at this wonderful bar and grill called Hunter's Place it is amazing

I stayed overnight, heading home 600 miles after 2 weeks visiting friends and family. Elkhart does a quilt festival & has a "quilt garden" that I want to specifically visit at some point.
The breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast with waffles, bagels, fruit juice
coffee and cereal which is fine for us as we travel . The location of the
unit is just off the Indiana tollway and close to plenty of places to eat
and only 10 minutes to downtown Elkhart. This is a well run and very
clean place to stay. A good buy.
Hotel lobby and room were very clean. Breakfast included eggs, meat, waffles, cereal, etc coffee was very good! Front desk people were very friendly. Upon arrival I said that we had just driven for 12 hours and we were offered juice and cookies. Now that is welcoming!!
Booked it with booking.com for 3 rooms for one night but when arrived they had us for 1 room for 3 nights. Luckily they were able to correct their mistake but gave us double queen instead of king suites.
The hotel blamed booking. Com and they blamed the hotel.
There wasn't a breakfast, which was all right with us. I was concerned that it would be hard to sleep, since the area around the hotel is quite noisy, but it was very quiet. Very comfortable rooms; nice shower.
Once I found the hotel (it's a little way off the main drag and not well marked) I found it clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical but hearty (biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, etc).
Great for a night sleep.
Perfect for anyone who plans to stay for multiple days in Elkhart area.
We didn't have much use for the kitchenette offered however it is practical.
Frankly... nothing I wish I would've gotten a different hotel, however I got this room through priceline and couldn't back out of the room without losing $270.00.
The bed itself was comfortable but the pillows were not. The location of the hotel was fairly close to everything so even if you had to Uber it wasn’t bad.
