Nice welcome on arrival and everything that we needed to know was told. The suite was huge and very well equipped, we were only sorry that we were here just for one night as a break in our journey and didn't fully make use of everything.

Wyndem ocean walk was overall terrible. Bathroom was filthy and ac wasn't working. They got it fixed the next day. Security guards are ridiculous. Kept asking who is on this chair when spouse was in pool. Wanted to remove her towel from chair to give her chair away. Elevators take forever. Wifi and TV was terrible. Overall, won't return nor recommend to anyone. Accept to not go there

I really did like this hotel!
I really did like this hotel! We will be back on our next trip to Daytona. Happy hour cocktails are an awesome idea. Free parking, breakfast, wifi and towels for the pool. They have a cubby for beach toys for everyone to use or donate to.
The rooms were big and spacious, the beds were very comfortable. Tip! Bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash, they only have the small toiletries.

There was no bar or lounge at the place we stayed. Most restaurants and bars in the area were closing at around 10 pm. which kind of put a damper on the evenings in Daytona. There is more rift raft coming into the town, then I remember from 25 years ago. Not a lot of night life going on there. Nothing appealing to my wife and I. The day time seemed to have more things happening around town.

Run down and sad. There were a lot of homeless and drug addicts.
We ate at 3 restaurants and the food was not good.
We did like the town’s commitment to helping turtles by requiring vehicles off the beach by 7pm.

Our stay at Max was beyond amazing.
Our stay at Max was beyond amazing. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our condo was equipped with everything we needed just as if we were at home. Our favorite thing to do was go upstairs to the Beacon lounge to play games and go out to the sunset terrace. The pool was the hangout and we made so many friends. Big shout out to Lisa and Sean. They welcomed us with smiles and set the tone for our vacation. I can't remember the name of the other gentlemen working. I do know he was from Jamaica and had only been with the Max for a short time. He was extremely helpful with us getting upstairs to our room. We had a lot of bags and he assisted us while my husband parked the car. Thanks again for everything you guys did to make our stay 1 for the books!!!

It was Jeep week at Daytona while we were there.
It was Jeep week at Daytona while we were there. We didn't know how loud and busy the beach would be because Jeeps love to drive up and down the beach all day long. Duane, the owner mentioned it but we didn't know how that would affect sitting on the beach.
We needed to be there for our granddaughter who was attending a ballet conference at the convention center so the location for that was great, but if you want a quiet, relaxing beach experience don't come to Daytona when it's Jeep week.
The main advantage of this hotel is its location and closeness to the water. This was the main criteria of my choice and my expectations here were fully met. I turned off the air conditioner at night, opened the balcony door ajar and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean - unforgettable! Another thing: you don't need a lounger at the beach: you can lie on it for free by the pool and enjoy the ocean view - less than hundred feet in front of you - and go for a swim (beach towels are for free, btw).
The location was perfect, right by the daytona beach. We paid $196 for one night. The pictures looked nothing how it looks in person, unfortunately! Don’t think the room / stay was worth $200, for one night . When we got to the room we instantly wanted our money back for a different hotel, called around to different hotels and they were all booked for that weekend so we made it work.. wouldn’t stay here again.
I love the location close to restaurants. I love ❤️ my oceanfront room, # 705 . The beds were king-size very comfortable. Three people can sleep in on bed. I love the kitchenette supplies all the utensils, pots,glasses, and plates. There was a nice size refrigerator. I will definitely recommend this hotel to stay at. There was continental breakfast, I like it because I'm really not a big breakfast person.

Great apartment with a wonderful views over the beach. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the pelicans flying over us (with an even better view of the pelicans on the roof of the hotel). All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Nice little cafe and bar near the pool and direct beach access. The apartment had everything we needed and we can highly recommend.
Beachfront, nice hot tub, walking distance to store on left and dollar store, mini golf in walking distance also to view live alligators but small ones that you can feed and hold for cheap price. House cleaners extremely nice and helpful. Would recommend hotel buying them new vacuum cleaners to clean carpets better had to work with vacuums from what looked like 1980.
Very reasonable will return soon please keep the prices down and I loved the location love daytona beach and hope to stay here again next month thanks so much friendly owners and staff behind the counter and friendly room service maids want to stay at the this hotel again because of location and within my budget 😀
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a great deal. We were skeptical because of the price but we were happy after a long drive to have a nice clean room with a balcony view of Daytona Beach. The hotel was right on the beach and we were able to walk right behind the hotel to watch a rocket launch.

Nautulius inn is a lovely hotel that we wholeheartedly recommend. We had a magnificent view of the sea and walked directly onto the beach from the pool garden. Everything is very neat and the staff is friendly. We will book this hotel again on our next trip to Daytona Beach.
First of all when we arrived our room was not what we expected the floors were filthy, we booked a suite but they put us in a room this Hotel looks cheap and out dated NEVER AGAIN and I wouldn’t recommend this stay to no one also I’m going to post pictures also
The room was so clean, you could smell the cleanliness. I would recommend the housekeeping attendant to the 4 star hotels such as the Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt etc. I would return just for the cleanliness!!!!
