Beautiful sand and water, lots of shells! A company sets up lounge chairs, domed shades, and umbrellas all down the beach, which took up a lot of space and blocked your view if you had to set up behind them. A manatee swam by me on my last day when the beach wasn't as crowded-- so cool!

There are many great bars and restaurants some with happy...
There are many great bars and restaurants some with happy hours. The beaches are powder white and go on for miles. Check out North beach and Sand Key.
Car is not really necessary if you eat out. Car is handy if you use supermarkets.
We stayed for a month and didn't want to leave.

They should clean up beach from all the Sea weed..
They should clean up beach from all the Sea weed..Other beaches in New Jersey have a ream that cleans the beach with truck & equipments to remove sea weed & trash cans in some places.so people have a place to put trash in.looks dirty.

Our accommodations were nice.
Our accommodations were nice. My only complaint was the loud construction sounds on both sides of the hotel. I would like to see them have a room/rooms available with small kitchenette as there was no restaraunt on site and no breakfast offered, no microwave in the room.

Having been to other places on the gulf coast I would rate Clearwater beach a long way behind the other places we have visited.The general vibe of the place was not very friendly,bar and restaurant staff bordering on rude(not all of course).Sorry Clearwater beach,we will not be returning any time soon.

This place we stayed "Michael's Surfside Cabanas" is not located in Clearwater Beach -- it is actually located in Redington Shores! I do think Booking.com needs to correct this on their site!

The woman at the front desk was very friendly when checking in. Hotel rules are simple and all rooms are just steps away from the beach. Our room was very comfortable with a kitchenette, living room, and bedroom. Guests also use the grills near the beach for cooking. Pool was beautiful but we didn't use it. We will return.
Fantastic location on the corner of the front strand of Clearwater Beach. Very nice and relaxing hotel with extremely helpful staff. We enjoyed the complimentary refreshments, oceanfront view of dolphins and pelicans, corner entry direct to the beach, and excellent walkability to restaurants, shopping, fun, and nightlife.
Location was probably my favorite part about this hotel! We stayed on the 10th floor with a beachfront view and it was absolutely incredible. The room was clean and quite spacious! Restaurants and bars at the Marriott were wonderful but a bit pricey. However, everything in clearwater was expensive!
Cute apartment. All the things you need in home is at your disposal. My husband enjoyed his birthday. It’s a beachfront hotel. We did not have a balcony but the beach was 100 feet away! Robert & Titiana thank you for all you done!! We will be renting out this hotel again.
All hotel personnel were extremely courteous. From front desk to facilities to housekeeping and entire restaurant (both) staff. I would highly recommend (and have) Sand Key as the place to stay while in Clearwater. However please also see comments on “ dislikes”
On the beach location was brilliant. All staff were friendly and helpful. All the other holiday makers were friendly we had some great conversations round the pool. If I get the opportunity to go to Clearwater Beach again Palm Pavillion is where I'll stay.
Classic 1950s Clearwater Beach motel, just off the beach. Great owners, large room with full kitchen, clean, everything worked, value priced, friendly atmosphere, a great vibe...all of which made for a great getaway to Florida.
Judy was kind, hospitable, and welcoming, willing to cater to the needs of travelers who are busy with family and holidays. Near the beach, casual atmosphere, just what is needed when getting away to Florida.
The property is well settled near the beach and the restaurants. The boardwalk is also nearby. It does also have a pool which is kept clean enough. The hotel is family friendly. The staff was also nice.

Location near the city however the beach is not close to the hotel and no chair and umbrella services included as part of the amenities. Private and US$35.
Staff was amazing! Private beach was beautiful! Food was a bit pricey but was excellent! Hotel is expensive but if you are looking for a little paradise this is the place!
It has two swimming pools, 24h reception, ice cream shop in the pool... Quiet hotel and close to the beach. Family friendly. I will repeat without any doubt.
