The only good thing was the close location to the airport.
The only good thing was the close location to the airport. We were told on the booking there was an airport shuttle - there WASN'T! We had to hire an Uber and pay an extra $54.00 to get the 7 miles to the airport.
The room was dirty, walls were cracked and peeling, shower dripping, ceiling above the shower was damaged and sagging - we wondered if it was going to collapse. Lights did not turn on, we were very reluctant to put our bare feet on the carpet. We WILL NOT stay there again - EVER!

Arlington is a beautiful city with beautiful architecture and beautiful restaurants with diverse food options. The City is very safe, the people there are friendly and welcoming, always willing to help us. Its proximity to Washington DC, Pentagon City and even Maryland is a big plus.

We traveled in mid October over Minnesota’s MEA. It was beautiful. The weather was gorgeous and the leaves were changing. Arlington has everything you need and is a very short drive to Washington DC. They have the metro to DC and bikes and scooters to rent. If we go again, we would stay in Arlington.

Hotel Pentagon, which was not a 4 or 5-star hotel as the rooms were large, but dated and could use some remodeling, however, the service staff was wonderful and attentive, the beds were comfortable, we had a fridge and microwave in the room, and the water was hot enough for a comfortable shower. They also offered a hot breakfast that was satisfying for those wanting a meal, and it was located right off the Rt. 395 exit in Arlington DC. Very convenient!
Hotel is very conveniently located and it's 5-7 vin walk to the metro station (just 2 stations to the center and Washington Mall). The breakfast is available for additional price. McDonalds is the next building to the hotel. The shops (7 Eleven and CVS) are near the metro station. The shuttle bus to the airport is very convenient and departs often, starting 4.30 am.

After check-out we were walking in the heat for 3hours. We asked, if we can take a shower and for small fee we were allowed to enter our room again and take a shower. What a luxury to travel back to Europe in dry and clean clothes!
We noticed that the parking was free on the booking site, but upon receiving information at the hotel registration form, we saw that it was chargeable, which we didn't appreciate. We were concerned about facing a parking issue. However, when we arrived, the lady at the reception assisted us with the parking, and we were able to park our car for free.
The price is the real plus here compared to other hotels there and in downtown DC. Rooms with sufficient space and all necessary comfort, clean. The location, although outside DC in Rosslyn, VA - which is a nice urban area with a decent choice of restaurants just next to Arlington Cemetary and close to Georgetown - is great.
Location was excellent. Was there for Arlington business but it’s a great walk over the Potomac River to quaint Georgetown for fun restaurants and shops. Breakfast starts earlier than some other hotels; great for early morning business. Staff at registration was always friendly. Great coffee in room.
Location, price, parking, comfort. Pleased to get a room near elevators as requested. Friendly staff. Amazing selection of snacks and drinks in lobby. Probably the best hotel parking garage in my experience. The free moving table in the room was great.
Hotel is fine quite close to the city center, few steps away from a metro station. The facility overall is well maintained. The rooms are clean, paid $$$ parking is available onsite. There are many lunch & dinner food options also available nearby.
