I love the location on right on King Street. Walkable to lots! You can park overnight on the street if you are out by 8am, but there are 2 hour meters after that on Saturdays. Staff is super nice and the lobby coffee is great too. I used the gym it was a good place if you want to fit in a quick workout.

The breakfast was fine. Filling us up for our journey into DC. The front desk also left us healthy snacks to enjoy during our day. Kitchen staff was attentive to their area and the area was extremely clean. I liked that breakfast was available until 10 am.
All in all we were very pleased as I was skeptical at first having my heart set on staying in Georgetown. The Metro was an easy walk. The King Street trolley was icing on the cake.
We are already discussing coming back at the same time next year!
Thank you!

Enjoyed old town and the Torpedo Factory. Went to Mount Vernon, Woodlawn, and Gunston Hall. Woodlawn needs some attention; can't believe it's a National Trust home. Also went to Hillwood Estate to Washington, D.C. -- magnificent.

Alexandria appeared to be a small and safe city with a relaxing vibe right outside of Washington, D.C. We spent most of our time touring D.C. Staying in Alexandria allowed us to stay in a relaxing place after spending tourist time in the hustle and bustle of a metropolitan city.

Alexandria is one of my favorite places to visit!
Alexandria is one of my favorite places to visit! It's set up to be friendly to tourists, but it doesn't feel kitschy or fake. There are a lot of independent local shops and wonderful restaurants. I didn't have a single bad meal the entire time I was there, and most of the restaurants have outdoor seating, including with heat and covering in poor weather. The Torpedo Factory art center is incredible! Alexandria is also very walkable, though the brick pavement is a little uneven, and public transit is free. I've visited three or four times now and plan to go back often!

Overall the stay was good.
Overall the stay was good. Parking may be a bit difficult during heavy traffic however aside from my time of arrival I did not park until after midnight each day and was able to easily get a spot just a few steps away.
The backyard seemed nice but since it was winter and snowed during my stay I didn't not utilize the yard.
The house was clean and everything functioned as expected. When staying at a private property there's typically a welcome note that points out some key things, this property did not have that.
My communication with the property management was easy and my questions were answered quickly.
Since my trip was to attend an event at the National Harbor I do not have anything to add about Alexandria as a destination.

We stayed here because we drove and they offered free parking on site. Since Sept. 1, parking is $10 per night, still not bad compared to most hotels offering no parking at all. The Metro is about 3 blocks down Eisenhower Blvd and efficiently gets one to DC primary locations. We ate at a Bison Grill in a center across from the Metro station...pricey but good. Hotel food is minimal. We didn't explore Alexandria itself. Location was more reasonable for access to DC highlights. Would use it again..

The front desk staff and the manager were absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful in trying to make sure I was comfortable. I needed a handicap room which wasn't on my reservation, and they made sure that I got one.
They make fresh baked cookies that you can smell while they are baking in the evening which was an absolute wonderful touch.
The room was clean and comfortable with a refrigerator and microwave.
I must say it was a really comfortable room and I wish I could have enjoyed it for another couple days, but I will look forward to returning.
This rental is better than most 5 star hotels I have stayed in the past. It's a self check-in with a smart lock, the house is full of amenities. The host also left some snacks and coffee pods. The rooms are spacious with smart T.Vs, it was cold during our stay so we couldn't enjoy the patio. The house is in a quiet neighborhood but close to varieties of stores and restaurants. The host was very responsive. I will be recommending this place to my friends and family and will be looking forward to stay here during my summer visit to DMV.
Everything! This was the best experience I have ever had in a stay! The room was so large and comfortable! There were several comfort itens that made it even greater!
Just to list some -> large cooktop with all utensils and pans, good amount of glasses, large dish washing machine, bathroom with heated floor, large bed with the perfect stiffness, a balcony, lots of hangers, open ceiling, central heating and AC. The location is great, on a really popular and life street of Alexandria.
Hotel was beautiful; nice spacious rooms; Location was very nice; tucked into downtown Alexandria; lots of shops and restaurants all around; beautiful courtyard space; spa menu of services was varied and spa staff was amazing and making the appointments was easy; even though hotel was located downtown, it was quiet; rooms were very clean and shower was wonderful (great shower head)
The room was extremely clean and well organized. The bed was comfortable with 4 pillows. Staff was friendly and professional. The train station to DC is in a 3-minute walk, but the station is currenly under maintenance so there is a shuttle bus to Crystal City train station. It takes about 30-40 to get there. There are several restaurants near the hotel.
Convenient location — 30 min to DC, a few minutes to Old Town Alexandria
Great breakfast — the kids always enjoy the breakfast
property is clean — hallways smell good, room is clean and smells clean
friendly and helpful staff.
Late checkout — not sure if this is a regular thing maybe it’s just not a busy day.
A great place to stay! The room are big size and clean also their free breakfast and drinks is good! So we actually love this place!. It’s also right distance from the old town and water front Alexandria so you can just walk if you like or ride a trolley!. So our stay and experience her is Great!
Comfortable, secure hotel with refrigerator and microwave in the room. Free hot coffee all day in the lobby, and a great location in Old Town, Alexandria near the Metro. Loved the extra towels and coffee-maker in the room. They also provided free bottles of water, which was great.
Getting in and out was extremely easy. I had a mishap about rooms at first, but it was resolved quickly and with care. And the location was SUPERB! Every food and shopping spot in Old Town Alexandria was within walking distance. I will be staying again the next time I'm up there.
The room was spacious with all the amenities. Centrally located in Old Alexandria this hotel exceeded my expectations. Walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants. Parking available, full gym, laundry facilities. This was a great place to stay. I highly recommend it.
This location is the BEST in Old Town Alexandria. We had 4 lovely rooms, super blackout draperies, great beds, pillows, toiletries. Underground parking, Hummingbird as its home restaurant and Barca just steps away on the river! Can't wait to return! Many thanks!
Spacious, comfortable room. The breakfast was above and beyond expectations, excellent quality, every variety and option you can imagine - not your average hotel breakfast. Excellent value, very nice, calm, professional, service minded place.
Great location! Our power went out due to a storm and we needed a place to stay nearby. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Great location in Alexandria near public transport and Old Town. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Very convenient location in Old Town Alexandria starting on King St walking was a nice 20 minute walk to the water dock. Room was spotless and very clean. Bonus: The shower had amazing pressure!
The hotel location is superb, very close to Alexandria main atractions and in a quiet zone. Easy access from major highways. The rooms are very pleasant, well equipped and comfortable.
The cleaning staff and desk services representatives were wonderful, knowledgeable, and kind. I felt safe and loved that everything was there within the hotel.
