We spent only a day to run around Truskavets and Drohobych.
We spent only a day to run around Truskavets and Drohobych. It was fun and interesting. We enjoyed driving up into Skidnytsa and visiting sites in the Carpathians. This was an easy drive and we used a rental car we got in Lviv from Budget rent a car. The war has no significant impact on these areas and they are very safe in 2023. I will include a picture of St. George Church in Drohobych which was interesting and a UNESCO world heritage site.

Truskavets is a nice city.
Truskavets is a nice city. It has good shopping and great restaurants. The hotels are very basic. Most of the staff at these places don't speak any English or very limited. They don't have English menus either.

Perfect place for the SPA holiday (drinking special mineral water Naftusya), nice Ukrainian food, fresh air and in general very nice place.

I the past this spa resort has seen better days for sure,...
I the past this spa resort has seen better days for sure, but it is quickly regaining it`s power. Very good value for your money and highly recommended for a little adventurous traveler. It is a sort of health and SPA „las vegas“ of Ukraine.

If you want to see a Soviet-style spa town, you have to go to Truskavec. It has all the modern amenities, restaurants, hotels etc., but also some old-style socialist hotels (which have some special shabby chic) and most impressive thing - "mineral water buffet" - a large , long and narrow pavillion building, resembling train station, with dozens of pipes from where you can get very healthy mineral water to drink. Two sorts of water - one smells like petrol, the other like rusty nails with rotten eggs. But they are really good for your health. Really cool town for one-day stop, or at least couple of hours.
It’s very new, a small hotel with very nice staff and qualified therapists. They were quite good at dealing with just my random and custom requests. Food in restaurant is really good and chefs did a good job. I’ll come back when I get a chance. Rooms are spacious and really comfy, also they put a lot of effort in good design and quality materials throughout the hotel, so all things you get to touch and see are very satisfying.
Beautiful luxury hotel with nice facilities and friendly helpful staff! The hotel was extremely clean. This was amazing how clean they managed to keep the hotel when it was fully booked and there were so many guests. This was impressive. For this I would give 10 star rating!
My standard room with a nice balcony was very spacious. The bathroom was good size with a nice bathtub.
I loved the live music in the lobby bar area.
The room was cosy and clean. The restaurant was also nice as well as service. Meals, including breakfasts were quite various, delicious and healthy.
The electricity and internet are just amazing. Despite the blackouts in the whole country, there wasn't a single sign of them.
The whole space and the room is stylish and comfortable.
The staff is friendly and hostile. We received a little gift when leaving.

-if I ask at booking for a quietly located room and find myself after between parents with small children-something in management of a 5* should be optimized, pools and jakuzees permanently occupied by 2,3 families....not optimal planning for such category of hotel.
They came into my situation, i was very frustrated about the room, i ve booked because I didn’t know it has nothing to do with pictures, looked horrible, so they did little discount and i stayed in the room higher level than standard, thanks to Marina in reception, she called her manager and tried to help me to stay in the hotel.
This hotel is very close to Truskavets. And there is ample parking. There is air conditioning and the staff was friendly and informed us about breakfast between 9-10 am. Check-in was very smooth. The staff had a sheet of paper printed out from booking with our reservation information. We paid on arrival. Very nice staff too.
It was a great experience! The hotel manager takes care of it like his own home. The stuff is nice and helpful. The room is clean and has everything for comfortable staying. There are a lot of restaurants in walking distance. The pump room is in 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We will be back for sure!
The first time I was staying in this hotel 4 years ago. Staff is amazing. They make you feel like a very special friend. One time I returned late and hungry. Cafe was closed, but staff was still there. They cooked something for me and brought it into my room. Love this place.
verry nice staff, nice atmosfere, clean room & bath. Hotel is on the outskirts of the town. Truskavets is small town , so it wasn’t serious problem. The minibar freezer is in the rooms. electric iron and iron board on request. The "red stown" has its own small parking facilities.

Cozy, clean, warm room. Attractive modern decor inside and classic architecture outside. Tasty breakfast, friendly and helpful staff! Hotel is located at the heart of the town's tourist center with good restaurants and the central park with the mineral spring right nearby.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice, restaurant on lowest floor had really good food. The whole hotel is very spacious so for those who go there for a week for medical procedures it was probably convenient.
Very good price per quality, as no other hotel offered a room with Air Conditioner for this price. The security (Roman) and Front Desk staff are kind and helpful. Quite quiet area. Room and bathroom are NOT old.
I had a great stay, it is an amazing hotel near the center of Truskavets, great value for the money, very clean and quiet. Nazar was very helpful, friendly and spoke perfect English!
