You can have long early morning walks on the beach. There is a local chocolate factory that makes its chocolates from the cocoa tree to the table which is really great because you get to pick the cocoa pod and make your own chocolates.There is a tranquil river not far from the hotel that's worth visiting(Shark River). Getting to Grande Riviere its a long drive, so pack some snacks and drinks to keep you going until you reach your hotel, but its worth the scenery!
