Staff: The owner is so, so friendly. He gave us recommendations on where to eat (Hidden Paradise) and even helped to wash our car before we left as he noticed it was dirty. The owner's wife even prepared delicious desserts that we could take for free, along with free water and tea, at the lounge area.
Room: Room was clean with free toiletries provided. Only downsides were that they did not have a wardrobe or hangers, and the room was slightly small. But our room had a queen bed and a single bed so we put our luggage on the single bed.
Views: Our room did not have its own balcony but there was a shared balcony just next to it overlooking the city. The sight was amazing and we loved that we could hear nature sounds, the azan and a bit of the live music playing at night. We loved sitting at the balcony and just enjoying the view.
Location: Very near the main city centre! We walked everywhere we wanted to go (museum, the markets, Hidden Paradise).
Food: Breakfast was great! Typical Turkish breakfast of bread and spreads. They will prepare some cooked veggies, eggs, fries and cheese sticks too.

It has a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can feel the authentic spirit of Safranbolu. It is also a great advantage that it is very close to the center. The new owners have decorated the interior of the hotel very beautifully, we felt like we were at home. There are handmade Turkish art objects and decors all over the hotel, we loved these details. The owners are also very friendly and caring, they did their best to make us comfortable.
It's a beautiful cozy homestay in the small town of Safranbolu. The location is very close to the center and the markets and major attractions are all nearby within walking distance. The owner as well is very welcoming and helpful. We had reached late at night due to heavy rain, but he was available to help us check in and offered home baked cookies. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable with heating.
The host and (especially) the hostess are warm and welcoming. The breakfast is substantial and lovingly presented. The views from the room were wonderful. This was a unique property, very different from the typical large and impersonal hotel experience.
We would not hesitate to recommend this property to younger, mobile guests who seek a bit different experience.

Very friendly and helpful host. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast is good, and was served in the garden. Safranbolu is a really pretty village. We absolutely loved it. It's a 5 to 10 minute walk to town from the hotel and lots to see on the way there.
The location was amazing--the hotel was in the old city. The hotel was in a beautiful old house with great rooms. Our view from our room looked out over the old city. The breakfast was good. There was a nice patio. The host even mailed an item for us that we forgot.
