I loved everything here. I had a lot of fun in UD Town and that was down to having a perfect base to explore from. After a long day of walking and being a tourist (eating a lot of delicious Isaan food), I needed to come back and rest. In the evening, once I was ready for some nightlife and entertainment, there was plenty on the doorstep! I could play plenty of pool with charming old gringos and enjoy very academic and intellectually stimulating conversations in any bar in "Day & Night", right across the street. In the morning, I could wipe away my hangover with a fantastic buffet breakfast and super attentive staff. I would say it's a little bit expensive compared to the other hotels in the area, but it's also higher quality.

Lots of shopping options. Couple of really good parks.
Lots of shopping options. Couple of really good parks. The morning and night markets are really cool. I usually chilled at a park during the day, got a massage, grabbed food from UD Town and hit a bar. Was nice to end my long vacation on a relaxed note.

Provincial capital and robust market town. A solid middle class city not built on tourism. Udon Thani provides a much more authentic Thai experience than tourist hubs like Chiang Mai. Public transport is weak and it helps to be a vigorous walker. If you want an authentic experience, this is the place. But if you prefer a huge selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and night markets that cater to western tourists, Chiang Mai is your place. Personally, I like both and I’m now happy to be in Chiang Mai,shop browsing, munching and people watching.

hotel in midst of some renovations - room still needing work , bathroom had water damage on ceiling -plenty parking need more towel racks if swimming , no bed bedside lamps - quite tucked away from busy centre of city but not too far, adjacent to airport no noise, local side walk thai restaurants close by , plus 7 eleven if required , , had pool but like most t a bit heavy handed on the chlorine - breakfast included to satisfy most appetites- staff friendly , value for money and suited our needs

Udon Thani is my favourite city in Thailand .. It's food at all the open markets is to die for ... The people are so friendly and there is so much to do for day trips ... Love going back as it's a great city that i have been to many times ..
Cleanliness of my room and the hotel in general. I stayed in room 303 for 18 nights without any issues whatsoever, except a blocked sink which was solved within the hour of reporting the issue. The Housekeeping staff were so friendly, and they all did an exceptional job in keeping my room clean when requested. I am very happy with Top Mansion (Top Hostel), and I will definitely book another room when I return to Thailand in March 2024.
Both the house and the city offer many attractions to plan several days for Udon Thani. Here I found a completely furnished home and enjoyed preparing fresh ingredients from the markets around. The loving neighbor and mother of the owner looked after me better than I know from many hotels. Thanks to her, I would have liked to stay longer and hope to return again.
Everything. I have stayed at the hotel several times and will continue to do so. The staff are extremely polite and friendly, the place is cleaned inside and outside to a high standard. The pool, although small , is ideal for a relaxing swim and some sunbathing after. But I suppose the best thing is the price which I believe is absolute value for money.
I liked that the deluxe family room we stayed in was larger than expected and our kids slept in one room and my wife and I in the other. The beds were also comfortable. I also liked that the hotel was within walking distance (~3-4 min) to the Central Mall in Udon. The hotel was also very affordable given the larger room we stayed in
Room was good and we were there 5 nights- used the pool- great with towels supplied- didn’t do breakfast so can’t say - location is the best - all the bars and restaurants outside or a 2 minute walk-good quality hotel for the price-we payed 7100b for 5 nights and I considered that good value- will go back for sure
The hotel is located just 10 minutes away from the Bus Terminal. The room is really and has everything you need. All the furniture looks antique which is a plus for me 😁. And finally quite an affordable price almost like in a hostel, but much better.
They offer free coffee, water, milk, bread and jam. There is a small kitchen that tourists can use. Location is near Udon thani train station, and a lot of people recommend to go train night market but I prefer udon walking street more!
