Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in for the last 6 weeks this has best bedding and bed. I know this sounds petty but the pillow’s are amazing. So many hotels forget about getting good pillows.

We stayed here from the 9/03/24 through to the 11/03/24. A two night stay as we travelled back from Pak Meng Beach & then were travelling onto Patong on the 11/03/24. Check in was smooth & efficient & only Credit card or the Thai QR code system was accepted as payment. I used credit card as I don’t have access to the Thai QR code system. Our room was ready & we were able to check in at 12.30PM. Our room was 421 facing the rear of the property & I would suggest that if you have the opportunity, You should book a rear room as the road past the hotel is quite busy. In reception area there is tea/coffee facilities for free & ample seating if you must wait for anyone. There are toilets there as well. The breakfast area is behind a glass partition & hours for breakfast are 7-10am. Breakfast is a set menu & is 75THB=$AUD3.18. elevator in operation at the hotel & there is 5 floors. Concierge brought our bags to the room, set up the A/C & made sure everything was good. As we have found with most SE Asian beds, they were a little hard, so I went back down to the reception & requested pillow toppers for the beds & that was no problem for them to do so. A/C kept the room cool as the temperature whist in Trung was 38,39 Deg C for the two days. Our room configuration was two single beds, but they were quite spacious. Fridge kept the drinks cold & there were multiple power points available to charge devices. Bathroom area was quite good & the shower as reported before in my reviews was a wall heater for the hot water & it also had a separate cold-water shower. Amenities (shampoo, toilet paper, hand wash supplied & room serviced daily. There is a courtyard on the 4th floor that is a great place to just sit & relax as well. Location is a key point with Maison as it is just across the railway lines from the Train station.

We realy ejoyed our stay at Kachonghills resort! We got an upgraded room, which we totally loved. The outside bath with forest view was exceptional. Breakfast was delicious, rich and with many options. All staff was kind and nice. We would like to come back one day.

We were so surprised how lovely this little resort is. The gardens are beautiful and a lot of care and thought has gone into making the property special. There are only seven rooms, all different and quirky. We stayed in the dome tent, with a huge round bath on the balcony. (Which we did half fill, hop in and watch the birds catching fish on the water). The bed was one of the best. We ate at the restaurant here, and the food was cooked to order, fresh and delicious. The chicken curry was amazing and the whole fried fish I requested was superb. Unless you have your own transport, there isn’t a cafe really in walking distance, so it was great to be able to get a beer, or food at good prices.
It is about 10 - 15 minutes out of town but a grab was only 160 baht. The owners were gracious hosts. They drove us to a local farm cafe for lunch and picked us up. We were also driven to the bus station for our departure. Couldn’t ask for better service. Highly recommend a couple of nights here to relax in beautiful surrounds.

Trang is a great place to get a taste for a real Thai city, especially before or after a stay out at the islands. After our trip out to the Koh Mook and Koh Libong, a stay in Trang provided a different, but equally interesting experience of city life in Trang. Beautiful landscapes surrounding city and the food scene is crazy and amazing (as with much of Thailand)! We had just one night here and a little under a day, which was a perfect amount of time for us to rent a scooter and explore a couple of cool sites in the area (Khao Chang Hai Cave, Weaving Center), visit the night markets, and experience the famous Trang dim sum breakfast. My husband and I definitely thought Trang City was worth a visit!

Beaches are not as beautiful as Krabi, Phang Nga or Phuket. However, its islands is quite remarkable. Moreover,you can travel to Trang by train or air from Bangkok. If you are looking for cultural tourism, you will like Trang.

Excellent food taste there is the legend, and island is superb. Grill Pork (Moo Yang) is different taste but in a great Chinese-herb great style. 'Hongchai' is good for the original grilled pork-chicken-lever rice and 'Trang Old town' is good for black coffee and old pictures. Recommend you to wake up at 6am and find the city fresh market downtown to buy 'Ko Paow' grilled pork for sweet-less and oil-less pork in case you want to taste a nice healthy food.
Tae-tieam (Chinese breakfast style) in Trang is one of the most famous meal, please try it at Jae Nok restaurant or just ask local to find a good one.
Please spend 3-4 days hanging around koh Kradarn (Kradarn Island), it is quiet and private place (don't forget your sun block). It is also good for trekking and canoeing with a crystal clear ocean. Takes some food and water with you in case to kill some expensive food there. Be prepare with some anti-mosquito spray.

Good location at city centre hotel near Trang railway station and enjoyable weekend night market. Very helpful staff and beautifully clean. Pretty room and well laid out bathroom. Excellent wi-fi. Breakfast available in restaurant next door and evening meal also available in Wine Corner, both very good.
Really liked this hotel. So clean and comfortable. Owners lovely and helpful. Cute owl ornaments everywhere. Loved the decor and artwork around the place.
