We booked this area for 4 days rather than central Bangkok...
We booked this area for 4 days rather than central Bangkok as we wanted to be able to get to/from the airport easily however the area is not great for tourism and we ended up taking taxis everywhere and traffic can be very heavy/slow so we wasted time/money. However the people are very friendly and helpful which made a great impact on us.

We stayed at Na Siri Lake in Samut Prakan as an ideal central location for all the things we wanted to see in the region. Very close to both BKK and DMK for short flights to Phuket, Cambodia, Vietnam etc.
