Lovely how it’s set up higher in the mountains, there’s a little place to have breakfast and you can see all the monkeys jumping in the trees with their babies. Was lovely to watch! Love the rooms and was thrilled to have a hammock on the balcony, enjoyed relaxing in the evenings. Brilliant staff so friendly and welcoming, breakfasts were good value for money and delicious! Rayavadee- SHA Extra Plus, hotel in Railay Beach

Luxurious beachfront accommodation along Krabi's Andaman Coast is provided at the 5-star Rayavadee- SHA Extra Plus, just next to Krabi Marine National Park.

We had a great stay. The location of the property is unique, in a jungle like setting overlooking steep cliffs and has access to three beaches. The villas are spacious, spanning two floors and providing plenty of privacy. Decor probably needs updating but it is very comfortable nevertheless. The highlight of our trip was the dining experience thanks to executive chef Jakkrit who went above and beyond to keep us happy. Cuisine here is at the highest levels and highly recommend both the grotto experience and Thai restaurant. Thank you for amazing stay.

Railay Great View Resort, hotel in Railay Beach

Railay Great View Resort and Spa is located on the beaches of East Railay, 26 km from Krabi Airport. It features free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and rooms with flat-screen TVs.

The resort is in a very unique location having a wonderful mix of beach and jungle. We particularly liked the style of the house with a lot of natural wood decor. There is a section of room you can lay down with a glass view of the jungle. The facilities were great having a reasonably priced menu and a great room-service. The room itself was surprisingly spacious and the bathroom was so so modern, supporting a bath and shower.

Great island stay with fantastic sunsets, sunrise on the east is great if you get up and climb early. Fantastic place to balance out some hiking with rock climbing, swimming and snorkelling. Easy to swim in western beach and wonderful sunsets for all along the beach. Easy bars/restaurant street to choose from with fresh seafood a plenty. Lots of accomodation to choose from to suit multiple budgets. Definately a nice spot to stay for a few days- definately ensure you bring hiking shoes to climb and explore the rocks, lagoon and look out.

Railay Beach is a great place to visit for a few days.

Railay Beach is a great place to visit for a few days. Explore the local limestone cliffs and walk the monkey trail to Phra Nang Beach. Limited dining options on walking street, maybe due to the fact that we were almost in monsoon season (low Season). Glad we stayed in Railay for a few days.

West Railay Beach was lovely, but Railay beach as a location is very small, dirty & touristy. I'm glad we went but would definitely say 2 nights is enough. You can walk from one side of Raily to the other in 5 minutes.

Railay West Beach has a lot of atmosphere and it is great...

Railay West Beach has a lot of atmosphere and it is great for watching the sunset. There are a ton of restaurants along the walking street, so there are many options for food. Unfortunately, there are a lot of longtail boats around Railay West, bringing day visitors back and forth. If you want more of a relaxing beach to swim at, I would suggest taking a short walk to Phra Nang Beach.

Railay Beach is a (unfortunately not so) hidden Gem!

Railay Beach is a (unfortunately not so) hidden Gem! The vibe is so relaxed with endless views of the limestone cliffs around you. Climbing to the viewpoint, visiting caves, relaxing on the beaches or just having a great time at some nice local bars and eateries. No cars or scooters on the small 'island' makes for a much less noisy atmosphere.

Railay Beach is one of our favourite spots in Thailand.

Railay Beach is one of our favourite spots in Thailand. There are three main beaches, and the best is Phra Nang Beach. It is easy to walk to and from all the beaches. Railay Beach - walking street access, a couple of resorts, kayak and SUP hire, and long-tail boats from and to Ao Nang. Phra Nang Beach - rock climber, Princess Cave Shrine, great swimming beach. During high season, they have long-tail boats selling hot food and drinks. At East Railay Beach, the tide goes out a long way, which is not suitable for swimming. Many tourist boats come this way, and there is a floating pontoon. There are many restaurants, bars, cafes, laundry etc on this side. Also, access to Walking Street.

Railay Hilltop is more akin to a lodge than anything else. I wouldn’t call it a resort. That said, it functions well if you consider it a lodge rather than a hotel room (this is what you get for going for the cheapest accommodation on the beach). I recommend keeping your aircon on even when leaving the property — this wards off mosquitoes and other annoying critters. Beds are ok and toilets function well. You get the essentials I say.

The location is very good, it spreads from the east coast where the pier is, to the west side where the cost you can actually swim in. It is a few minutes walk from the main (and only) street in the island. Everything is close, the facilities are overall kind of good in relation to the standard in Railay Beach. The pool is also very nice and very close to the shore.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The location of the hotel, set back from Railay beach was a godsend. Offered pace and tranquillity in a stunning green setting with beautiful views. Breakfast was great, room was really comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the cliffs and trees.

It's an amazing eco resort in a great location and stunning views. Within a short walking distance (15 min) to Railay Beach as well as Phra Nang beach. Breakfast at the hotel is very good and the view from the cantine is simply awesome. There are many restaurants and bars around.

The hotel was in the most beautifully secluded location about a 10 minute walk from the restaurants and activities of Railay beach. The room was decorated so nice and very clean. The view from the balcony was amazing
