Pranburi is a quiet beach town.
Pranburi is a quiet beach town. It has one part which is slightly busier along the Dolphin Bay Hotel area, with more restaurant options, shops and a nicer beach, but not overwhelming. The other part is quieter and still developing but has some very nice resorts. It is impossible not relax. Lots of beach space for kids to play.

Pran Buri, is the town.
Pran Buri, is the town. The beach front area is known as 'Pak Nam Pran'. Quieter and more relaxed than Hua-Hin and Cha-Am, it's both a bit further from Bangkok and slightly better value. There are not the same range of restaurants, bars or other tourists facilities as the previously mentioned resort areas, but there is good food to be had, and some decent resorts.

We booked for 3 days to be near Kuri Buri national park to go on elephant safari which was amazing! Not sure I would want to holiday there for long period. The locals need to clean up the beach from rubbish, as it could be really beautiful.
Saenghiran Beach Resort is a cozy, well-maintained family run resort with a nice swimming pool and a café on the premises (good coffee!). We stayed in a small bungalow, very clean and comfy, with a huge bathroom. The fridge was an unexpected plus. We had a decent breakfast in a restaurant belonging to a neighboring resort as Saenghiran Beach Resort's own restaurant was closed that day - the rice soup was very tasty. The family members who welcomed us were friendly and helpful throughout. A sweet place we would definitely visit again!
The resort was beautiful - with waterways and flowers everywhere. My room had everything I needed (air con, fridge, balcony) and the pool was also great. I had the hotel breakfasts, which were delicious, with a big range of sweet and savoury, Thai and western options (fruit, toast, fried rice, curry, Kao Tom & omelette).
The best thing was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful, always happy to stop for a little chat. They were also great helping me see the local area - arranging taxis etc. Thanks for a great stay!
The hotel owner was very helpful. Not only in daily business, but also helped to solved problems with luggage forgotten in taxi (notebook, passport, money) : contacted local police at Hua Hin, found and returned it back. She helped in moped rental, proposed trips to interesting places, showed us personally places worth of visit, to dine, beaches. The place is very quiet, no usual holiday rush. We were able to see actual life in Thailand.
The room was reasonably comfortable and pool area was good. There were 2 cats and dog that claimed ownership of our patio and if you left your door open the cats would come inside. Annoying! You need to have your own transport as it’s out of the way. There are a couple of restaurants a 5 min drive away. The one right on the beach near the fishing boat anchorage is nice for lunch.
Sincere thanks to the most lovely staff for facilitating our wonderful stay. Thank you especially to the wonderful manageress who was so helpful in helping us plan our day trips in our hire car.
Beautiful large rooms, beautiful grounds that were very peaceful. I highly recommend this hotel / resort.
Very beautiful resort with big gardens, villas are very big with lots of details like outside shower, you can have a bike to drive around, few dining options outside the Hotel in walking distance, breakfast with a nice seating area and good choice of food and beverages.
First because of this place separate houses it’s very private- quite- & near the beach just walk in 8 Minutes or drive in 2 minutes, not expensive & very valuable & comfortable to take time to relax yourself or for your family, also very good breakfast 🙂👏👏👏
Best small resort we have stayed in Thailand.Excellent location with the pool looking over the beach ,staff were friendly and accommodating.Breakfast was adequate few restaurants and bars along the beach road .relaxing area fairly quiet.
The rooms is so comfortable, quite, clean, and great to stay for family.
Staff is so really friendly and helpful. And the dogs so lovely.
location not bad, a few minutes drive to the beach.
Overall staying there was well worth it!
we stayed for 2 weekd and we really loved it. the little beach pool houses are truly relaxing. The staff, honoustly all of them, are super friendly and professional. Big thanks to all of them including Joby, Lek and Milk.
- Excellent Beachfront View
- Varied, Tasteful, and Pleasant Breakfast
- Smooth WIFI
- Clean Room
- Fabulous Staff with Great Hospitality especially The owner who is professional and friendly with heart of caring
The room (2-bedroom hidden gem villa) is far away from the beach. And we feel unsafe cause its location. its is surrounded by fallow. We recommend the beachfront or ocean view room cause they closed to the beach.
