The location just opposite the Night Market was perfect, but did not make up for the poor room. I will always come back to Pak Chong, but avoid Rimtarn.

Amazing hostel, great room, great facilities, everything you needed, nice and clean. Bathroom was also nice and cool and cleaned regularly. Breakfast was pretty good for free/included. Rooftop snooker table. Comfy bed. We also were able to rent a motorbike from them for a good price to go to Khao Yai. Washing machines too. Probably one of the best hostels we'd stayed at. Walking distance from the night market.

Nice city, not too big but with some nice restaurants and bars to go to in the evening. It is a bit stretched out, so a car can be convenient. Close to Khao Yai national park, so a good place to organize your trips from.

Pak Chong is not too popular among foreign tourists.
Pak Chong is not too popular among foreign tourists. This is a vacation place mostly for Thai people around 3 hours from Bangkok.
Getting there is easy taking the minibus and cost around 160thb.
It is a nice place to enjoy a few days and it has a enormous waterpark/amusement park, exotic zoo, temples etc in a short driving distance.
I reccomend renting a scooter to get around since it is cheap and it fast, especcaly in the most trafficated hours.
Make sure to bring international driving lisence if renting a vehicle, or else you will be fined 500thb if stopped by the police. Helmet is also a must have for both driver and passenger, or else you will be fined for not wearing one also.
There is enough dining places around (a lot of hot-pot around), but the best is the streetfood rolling out at 9-10pm and lasts for the late hours (and also cheap).
I really reccomend Pak Chong for a few days and we will definately go back there the next time.

Night was good for food and many stall but the morning market better as shop open good stufs to buy. The hostel beside noodles shop was the best had ever eaten in Thailand. Fish ball noodle was fresh and delicious.. A stall wanton Noodles down the road was delicious too. The place was quite easy to excess by bus to korat, mini van to Bangkok returned for bus too except only not many can speak English.
Clean, comfortable, has great hot water and AC.
Very peaceful and quiet.
Walking distance to the train station.
They offer basic breakfast for free in their little outdoor verandah overlooking the river. Delicious and you can upgrade your meal if you desire.
They also helped us organise our day trip into Khao Yai National Park.
Lovely people, would come back.
We could change rooms! After that:
The bed was clean. The bathroom was better that the previous. Nice balcony!
A fridge, water kettle and tea.
12 min drive to the Khao Yai National Park.
Kind of the owner to drop oof & pick up from the National Park 🙏
There are a lot of beautiful places in the neighborhood - you just need a car or scooter of your own.
A delightful, quirky hotel filled with collectibles. The rooms are spacious and many have an outdoor area next to the river. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was welcome after a hot day and a walk across a bridge leads to great restaurant.
A charming and very clean hotel in a great location. The rooms are large. The staff is very kind and always ready to help and make sure we have a perfect vacation
