The property was owned and run by a local family who were so lovely. They went above and beyond what was promised. We were surprised with breakfast and / or fresh fruit at no extra cost. Excellent clean bungalows, with good facilities, good air conditioning. Nice peaceful part of the island, only 15 minutes walk north of the pier. Nice beach within 2 minutes walk, though the beaches on the west/southwest are better for swimming. Lots of good restaurants, cafes within easy walking distance. If you hire a bike you can get anywhere in the island very quickly. Quiet at night (no noisy beach bars/parties nearby). Excellent food and drinks at the restaurant there. I ate there every evening. Very friendly and helpful owners, who were always around.
