Ao Salat View Koh Kood offers accommodation in Ban Ao Salat, 10 km from Taphao Beach and 13 km from Klong Chao Beach. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Rooms come with a flat-screen TV.

The hotel is right next to the pier where the boats from the mainland will drop you off. The rooms are comfortable and clean and perfect for resting up after exploring the island. Personally for me the location was perfect, it was like having your own pocket of space on the island and the drives to all of the beaches across the island are beautiful. The hosts are very hospitable and will make your stay at the island truly wonderful.

    Beautiful nature, amazing beaches.

Beautiful nature, amazing beaches. But if you want to explore the island you need a scooter. Some little shops with stuff you need, but nothing special. It is a remote island without big infrastructure, so i enjoyed the feeling of a bit adventure. And as i mentioned, the nature was spectaculous. .

This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood.

This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood. It is the most lovely place I’ve ever been. The bungalow we were given is on its own little island with a fantastic view of the sea. We loved it so much we were really pleased to be able to stay longer. The staff are really kind and were always available to help with anything. It is great to swim here as the water is clear and you can see fish swimming in it. The fire show was great fun. We liked some food more than others but loved the banana pancakes. We’d definitely come again if the opportunity arose.

Ko Kood is advertised as an unspoilt island paradise, in my opinion, it is not. The arrival/departure pier is a mess, too much rubbish, not the welcome sight I was expecting. The 20-30 minute drive from the pier to the resort let us see a good part of the island. Most buildings, restaurants, hostels looked ‘tired’ - perhaps this is a post-pandemic situation. You have to be comfortable riding a scooter (and have insurance as the roads are quite steep and windy) to explore the island. I only ate at the Koh Kood Resort, which I found was not value for money, the portion sizes were small. The beach was safe and the water clear, I was expecting more fish. The resort’s facilities were adequate but I was expecting better. As an older, disabled person, I would not recommend the resort or island as a suitable place to visit. I would not visit Koh Kood again. For me, Koph Chang is a better option as you can take your car on the island.

Wonderful, had whole beaches to ourselves, friendly people a world away from Bangkok. Easy to get about on a scooter even for first timers. Bring sturdy shoes for waterfalls though. Great snorkeling locations too

This place is literally a paradise.

This place is literally a paradise. Get on a scooter and ride through jungle tracks to find deserted beaches, sea is pale blue just like in the pictures. Hardly any traffic at all, no banging music and crazy people, seems like everyone there is there for relax. I loved it and am going back for more.

The beach was one of the best in my life.

The beach was one of the best in my life. Crystal clear water and sandy beach. The beach in front of my hotel was really great (Bang Bao Beach or something) However, it was not easy for getting there and getting around especially during long holiday. The speedboat to the island was expensive and very bad management on the sitting (no reservation seat). You have to park at their parking lot and sitting on shuttle carts to the pier. When you reach the island, they offered free delivery service but you have to be "packed" on a truck with strangers for quite a long ride (>20 mins) to up and down road to my hotel. The food here was very nice. However, most restaurant trend to take very long time before the food would arrive.

You have to be ready for basic but for me it was the best place I could choose on the island. You get a very clean and simple room, the staff is super nice but also not invasive. You’ll have one of the most beautiful beach just few steps from your porch. You can rent a kayak and a scooter from the hotel. The food at their restaurant is delicious. There is nothing else you might need. I think one of the most important thing about this place is that it didn’t feel much like a hotel or resort but more as you just rented the bungalow.

there are only few rooms, so its not crowded not too lound perfect for relaxing and having private time. besides the owner is very caring made special recipe tasty and great quality of food for us that cannot find in a other hotel. for the design, furniture and the garden are so green, homey and cozy. feel like embracing by the true nature. I get to reboots and receive good energy from the owner and from the sea by staying there even if just 3 days.

Nai and his family are one of the friendliest, kindest people I met in about 20 years of traveling. He just picked us up from the hotel we stayed the night before (without asking), helped with bookings (Songkran time!), brought me back from the motorbike rental to the Resort and more... just lovely people. The resort is in a very green area, just a couple of hundred meters away from the Beach. it's in a very good condition, nice bungalows.

The location is extraordinary - away from the bustling world - practically in the jungle and about 400 m from sea: peaceful and haven of rest. Bit worried about the future as there is an increase in the amount of tourists coming to Koh Kut, and of course more facilities are being built - perhaps overcrowding and then it is not so zen anymore. The family work together in team to provide the best services for their guests.

We really enjoyed our stay at the MeDee Resort! Helpful and friendly staff, comfortable and spacious bungalows for 2 people, small and private resort, big bathroom, yummy breakfast with egg station, French toast, pancakes and fresh fruit. Big plus- free kayak rental, enough sunbeds, no sandflies and an amazing sunset every night. Also scooter rental or snorkeling trips can be booked directly at the hotel.

Very nice and modern apartment. The room and the garden were very clean and we loved the breakfast. Its located a bit further away from everything but you need a scooter on Koh Kood anyways to get around. The island itself is one of the best we have been to on Thailand - the beaches are definitely comparable to the Philippines.

Beautiful place. The owners and the staff made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. Everything is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The bed is probably the best I slept in, in thailand. The food is very good, everything prepared by the very talented chef. Would love to stay again.

The beach here is an amazing white sand beach and the resort's location is in a good location with a beachside restaurant where you can order drinks and zip at the counter. If you don't mind about the room, here is one of the best beach in Koh Kood for your next holiday.
