Very nice hotel, Staff very helpful in giving us advise on local attractions, great location short walk from the Mekong and Mun rivers, plenty off bars on the river front, a few were closed when we were there, lots of places to visit within a short drive.
Couldn't see any color difference between the 2 rivers.
Couldn't see any color difference between the 2 rivers. Best time is supposed to be in April. Heard that China is throttleling the water flow of the Mekong which could be the reason that less mud is in the water. Only a few restaurants, not much to do in the town, other than visiting Wat Tham Khu Ha Sawan.

One of the best weekend breaks I have ever had.
One of the best weekend breaks I have ever had. The resort is small but has good comfortable clean rooms. The staff exceptional Family run business. Who are there to help in any way that they can. The views are a photographers dream including anyone that is a nature lover.
The Breakfast is Lovely and the onsite Restaurant is Brilliant all of the dishes whether Eastern or Western done professionally and tasty.
Beautiful, modern and clean accommodation with very friendly staff.
Close to the center with market, stores and restaurants.
We loved the breakfast with Khao Tom Moo and eggs in the preferred version. Toast, butter and jam are also available.
The staff was able to organize a transfer for us to the border, which we really appreciated.

An absolute beauty of a resort. On the bank of the Mekong, the setting was superb. Breakfast was very good in that the eggs were freshly cooked and hot! Very unusual in many resorts and hotels. Dinner was good.
The chalets were first class and spacious.
