When I arrived at neo hotel I got a nice warm welcome from ladies at reception. The hotel itself offered great value for money and long may it last thanks to the owner who has a great team working in the hotel. The ladies taking care of the rooms upstairs were very pleasant with a big smile. My room was very very clean to a high standard smart TV Grace air condition and Wi-Fi very fast the bed was very comfortable with nice pillows. Water pressure in the bathroom was okay and very clean in that room and then you had a balcony and that was nice to have a lot of hotels do not have balconies it's obviously taking care of by good management. They offer tea coffee service in the morning good parking facilities outside not too far you have seven eleven so all in all I was very happy and I'll be back thank you to everybody for taking good care of me Patrick

There is plenty to do in Khon Kaen and lots of places to visit. I would definitely recommend a vist to Ton Tann night Market. A vast variety of food stalls with wonderful food together with general market selling clothing and many other goods. There is also live entertainment with a number of bars close by.

Khon Kaen is my waypoint for journeys to the north not accessible by train, so I don't see the sights (like bouldering). Khon Kaen, compared to frenetic and chaotic Bangkok, seems sober, even sedate. However, Khon Kaen grows on you, because it has everything you could want, and is manageable. No traffic jams! Getting around is easy with tuk tuks (pricey), song taews, a municipal bus system, and Grab.
My favorite restaurant is a solid and reliable "boiled rice place," at Pimphasut and Clang Muang, open 'til 1:00am:

For us it is really nice since we have family living there.
For us it is really nice since we have family living there. Visiting the Khon Kaen museum is well worth a trip to see the history of Khon Kaen and the people living there throughout history.
We recommend using Grab for getting around Khon Kaen since it is cheap and working really well. If you want to drive around and explore more of Khon Kaen and Isaan renting a car is well worth it. We rented a car for a for a couple of days one week and for our last week and went on several trips that we enjoyed. Visiting different markets is well worth it and the Saturday market on the road close to Romantic Inn is a nice way to spend the evening with good food and friendly people.

Town was clean and tidy and appeared safe.
The local covered food market is huge and very well priced. Oysters were 100bht for 3 dozen with condiments. And beautiful.
Singha Golf Course is excellent.
It is a busy city. Local nightclubs are busy with a strong student presence.

I have been to Khon Kaen many times over many years , and have seen this town grow from a small town to a large busy .modern town.
Khon Kaen , has many places to see and even more great places to eat , being a university town it is very vibrant and the town seems to reflect that. Temples are a great reason to visit this city , but food seems to be the very big attraction.
I traveled to Khon Kaen to participate in the 6th International Palaeontological Congress held in that city, and my stay at Mantra Varee Hotel was very comforting, the room was very comfortable, good internet and excellent breakfast and location for walking. In addition, the reception was very helpful in resolving airline ticket changes and finding a specific place to print a poster.
I think this is cool. for traveling alone Because it's economical and cheap with good service like relatives. plus a lovely caregiver and also asked about raw material suffering I think if you don't think too much It's great and you can save a lot of money on your accommodation. It may not be very personal. But you should think that this is a big and warm family in Khon Kaen.😉

The hotel is on a quiet sidestreet, not central, but with enough stores, restaurants, laundries for my needs. Bathroom is new, hot water is good, beds and pillows are comfortable, lighting is OK, there are enough plugs.
Huge suit with 2 single beds and 1 queen bed in another room. Kitchen pantry with sink and microwave oven and fridge. 1 bathroom fantastically clean.
Next to hotel very nice food. Vietnamese restaurant for breakfast. Seafood and many dishes for dinner. Across the road, theres a Chinese DimSum with nice noodles.
Please ignore my previous review. I got this hotel mixed up with Terminal21 in Korat and I can’t see how to edit or remove it on this app. This hotel is NOT attached to a shopping mall as I indicated in the previous review. This hotel in Khon Kaen was okay but the railway theme didn’t really appeal to me.
The hotel seems large and luxurious - you can tell that it was quite a fancy place back in the day. The doormen were very friendly and joking around a bit. The location is near to the the city and university. The breakfast was good too (not the best I've had, but not bad).
Comfortable room, very firm mattress (no backache), strong flow of cool/hot water, good location, nice staff, safe parking lot, easy to notice the hotel sign, good price for three.
Booked this hotel as we wanted to be close to the airport which is only 5-10mins in a taxi. The room was very big, clean and spacious for the price. Very good value for money.
