Incredibly friendly couple who run it and were so helpful. Although breakfast is not officially included, there was coffee and tea, toast and jam available in the morning. Nice views over the river. Walking distance to restaurants. Was a good place to stay for one night.

EVERYTHING!!!!! Akkhaporn and his family made this THE BEST STAY we’ve had in our whole Thai/Laos trip! 🥰❤️😍 I wished we could’ve stayed longer!! Akkhaporn is a STAR and has a very very bright future and I just wish all the best to this lovely lovely family ❤️
FOOD: Had dinner and breakfast here, both made by the aunt - THE BEST curry we’ve had!! Had it in our room and have the freshest fruit (from their farm!) and cutest tea/coffee trays. Restaurant cafe always had chill music on while you’re admiring the views 👍
ROOM: Can’t get enough of it. The view is jawdropping and the area is so serene. Has a balcony that overlooks onto the town and river and mountains. It’s the biggest room we’ve ever stayed in. Western standards. Everything so tastefully decorated, curated and thought of. Felt like royalty!
SURROUNDING: Soooo peaceful. Would’ve wanted to go around their farm and check out the bike path down to the river and into town. The whole hotel is wide and spacious. Very relaxing. Soooo much to offer as Akkhaporn trained as a tour guide too. 👍👍
I liked to have riverview. We had two single beds that we rearranged such that they were mire close to eachother. Not perfect but ok. For one person the bed was too hard, for the other it was good. Was great to be on the (small) balcony to look at the river, but there were no seats.
I used the pool, but at the time of the day the two high building on the side avoided all sunshine to warm up the water. We also had to use our own towels from the room, one per person.
Checkout was fast without checking the room. Few hours after we left, we were in Chiang Rai already, staff called us that they we left behind a watch. They agreed to send it to our home in Chiang Mai. Great service that we really appreciate.

I was in town for the first annual (I hope) Chiang Khong Music Festival.
The music was excellent and the roads to and from were perfect for motorcycles.
Chiang Khong is a sleepy little town with just enough nightlife to keep it from being boring.
It is right on the Mekong River and there is a "Friendship Bridge" border crossing to Lao (Laos) very close.
If you need to decompress, this is a good place to do it.
Great place to spend the night for Motorcycle enthusiasts.

Nothing much here but it's away from the waterfront at Chiang Saen and Sop Ruap with their Burmese and Chinese casinos across the river. We drove so we were able to get around to some out of the way places downriver and over to Sop Ruap so the ladies could go shopping. All in all a pleasant place to stay especially for us older farangs.
The hotel is located on a beautiful peace of property with great views. The rooms are spacious and really well done. We had a nice balcony and the bathroom was large, clean, and modern. The dining area was also cozy and a nice place to relax. The food was homemade and super delicious. The location near the border crossing is great. We were sad to only be staying once night before we crossed into Laos.
The good reviews this place has received were absolutely correct. Very nice and helpful people and though the bungalow room was probably the smallest I have ever stayed in, it was lovely and perfect for my needs. I always bring a memory foam matrass in my car when I travel around in Thailand because of my bad back, but this time I could leave it in the car because the bed was comfortable as it was.
The hosts were absolutely adorable, we stayed for 1 night at Chiang Khong, coming from the slow boat. The host picked us up at the boarder and dropped us at the bus station the morning after. Delicious food, with mangos straight from the garden! And the little bungalows are cute, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended if you are looking for just 1 night before/after crossing the border.
The lady on reception was probably the most helpful person I've experienced in any hotel. She was so kind and organised the slow boat to luang Prabang for us while giving us loads of useful information and just all in all making the trip seamless.
The rooms are clean and very spacious with incredible views onto the mekong. Sunrise was spectacular. I couldn't recommend this place enough
Excellent location (walking distance from 7Eleven, Lotus and Mekong river walk) Upmarket hotel at affordable price with all the necessary bells and whistles The food was very nice with a wide variety to choose from.. The atmosphere is just something special and would make you return time and again.
Also worth mentioning, the owner is very profesional and helpful. Strongly recommended.
The Hotel owners are also the managers. Super nice people, very good english, a wealth of local knowledge. All the rooms have the same fabulous view of the Mekong River. Chilling on the balcony, watching the river traffic and sipping a cold Chang or a hot coffee in the morning is what is sooo great. Very short walk to the best restaurant tin town.
Room was bright, spacious and clean, with a good bed and well functioning air conditioning. Bathroom was fine, with better than usual counter space around the sink. Front desk staff were cheerful and welcoming. The adjacent 7/11 was very handy. Hotel's location could not be more central, with many places to eat nearby.
The location was superb for our needs. The staff were superb very helpful and always on hand. Although we left the hotel to explore the area we didn’t need to there was plenty to do in the hotel. We especially enjoyed the singer at dinner on our first evening. Most entertaining and a nice touch thank you.
It’s probably the best you’re going to get
in Chiang Khong. A variety of low-price,
simple but delicious food restaurants within
walking distance. They pick you up at the
immigration office for a very reasonable fee.
Nice view only in river view rooms. Bathtub
on the balcony is nice.
They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 11. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The service was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.
The river view : room and restaurant
The kindness of the staff
The rooms: spacious, modern, nice and clean.
The location : very nice late afternoon walk along the Mekong (close to the Chiang Khong colorful column)
The Thai food was very good, skillfully prepared and it was a nice place to sit down next to the pool. It's a beautiful hotel and pool as well. The room is also very nice and everything worked perfectly well.
The best on the Mekong riverfront. The staff is really friendly. The food is delicious and price really reasonable. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in the north. I live in Thailand
We stayed here for 1 night pre our boarder crossing to Laos. It’s a lovely hotel hidden off a busy street. Friendly staff. Good value for money. Large pool. I would stay here again.
We really loved having a dining room and a living room. There was also a really nice coffee shop across the street. And laundry facility in front of our hotel. Loved it.
