Good location in the centre of town with easy access to shops, bars and restaurants. Only had a quick one night stay but did exactly as required, nice pool area, room was spacious and air con was strong. Bathroom is sort of outside the room but nothing bad and shower worked well as did the temperature. Nice area outside the room although plenty of mosquitoes as is expected in this part of the world

The breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. They could do much more. I liked the view from the balcony. The staff were super pleasant and helpful, My friend appreciated the free bikes.

Incredibly friendly couple who run it and were so helpful. Although breakfast is not officially included, there was coffee and tea, toast and jam available in the morning. Nice views over the river. Walking distance to restaurants. Was a good place to stay for one night.

EVERYTHING!!!!! Akkhaporn and his family made this THE BEST STAY we’ve had in our whole Thai/Laos trip! 🥰❤️😍 I wished we could’ve stayed longer!! Akkhaporn is a STAR and has a very very bright future and I just wish all the best to this lovely lovely family ❤️
FOOD: Had dinner and breakfast here, both made by the aunt - THE BEST curry we’ve had!! Had it in our room and have the freshest fruit (from their farm!) and cutest tea/coffee trays. Restaurant cafe always had chill music on while you’re admiring the views 👍
ROOM: Can’t get enough of it. The view is jawdropping and the area is so serene. Has a balcony that overlooks onto the town and river and mountains. It’s the biggest room we’ve ever stayed in. Western standards. Everything so tastefully decorated, curated and thought of. Felt like royalty!
SURROUNDING: Soooo peaceful. Would’ve wanted to go around their farm and check out the bike path down to the river and into town. The whole hotel is wide and spacious. Very relaxing. Soooo much to offer as Akkhaporn trained as a tour guide too. 👍👍
I liked to have riverview. We had two single beds that we rearranged such that they were mire close to eachother. Not perfect but ok. For one person the bed was too hard, for the other it was good. Was great to be on the (small) balcony to look at the river, but there were no seats.
I used the pool, but at the time of the day the two high building on the side avoided all sunshine to warm up the water. We also had to use our own towels from the room, one per person.
Checkout was fast without checking the room. Few hours after we left, we were in Chiang Rai already, staff called us that they we left behind a watch. They agreed to send it to our home in Chiang Mai. Great service that we really appreciate.

I was in town for the first annual (I hope) Chiang Khong Music Festival.
The music was excellent and the roads to and from were perfect for motorcycles.
Chiang Khong is a sleepy little town with just enough nightlife to keep it from being boring.
It is right on the Mekong River and there is a "Friendship Bridge" border crossing to Lao (Laos) very close.
If you need to decompress, this is a good place to do it.
Great place to spend the night for Motorcycle enthusiasts.

Nothing much here but it's away from the waterfront at Chiang Saen and Sop Ruap with their Burmese and Chinese casinos across the river. We drove so we were able to get around to some out of the way places downriver and over to Sop Ruap so the ladies could go shopping. All in all a pleasant place to stay especially for us older farangs.
The good reviews this place has received were absolutely correct. Very nice and helpful people and though the bungalow room was probably the smallest I have ever stayed in, it was lovely and perfect for my needs. I always bring a memory foam matrass in my car when I travel around in Thailand because of my bad back, but this time I could leave it in the car because the bed was comfortable as it was.
This is an absolutely amazing property! Very comfortable and well appointed room with a view of the Mekong River and a fantastic bed. The grounds of the property are both serene and beautiful. The proprietors, Nack and his mother, Min(?), we’re so sweet, kind and accommodating. Overall this was an excellent stay in a boutique hotel that I would happily recommend without any reservations.
We loved our stay here! The host was so lovely, he was ready to pick us up from the bus which was so amazing after so long on the bus and up early to cook us eggs then take us to the Thai border the next morning. We also had an amazing dinner!! I had one of the best red curries I have ever had in Thailand and my partner loved his basil and pork stir fry. Would definitely recommend :)
Fabulous property with the most amazing hosts! Mai and her family go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. And it was! Large, clean room with an amazing view, delicious food, and everything we needed to explore…or just relax. This was my favorite hotel after 13 weeks in Southeast Asia! Can’t wait to come back!
Room was bright, spacious and clean, with a good bed and well functioning air conditioning. Bathroom was fine, with better than usual counter space around the sink. Front desk staff were cheerful and welcoming. The adjacent 7/11 was very handy. Hotel's location could not be more central, with many places to eat nearby.
It’s probably the best you’re going to get
in Chiang Khong. A variety of low-price,
simple but delicious food restaurants within
walking distance. They pick you up at the
immigration office for a very reasonable fee.
Nice view only in river view rooms. Bathtub
on the balcony is nice.
Lovely hotel with a nice swimming pool in a beautiful small garden. Definitely the best value for money on this trip. Really quiet, tucked away from the main road. Most people stay one night to cross the border. We stayed two nights to do a quiet day, that is recommended.
The property is in a beautiful location and less than 10 minutes driving to the Laos border checkpoint. The manager of the hotel was very friendly. The room was clean and had a very comfortable bed!
The best part was the food. Quality Thai food for an affordable price.
The river view : room and restaurant
The kindness of the staff
The rooms: spacious, modern, nice and clean.
The location : very nice late afternoon walk along the Mekong (close to the Chiang Khong colorful column)
The Thai food was very good, skillfully prepared and it was a nice place to sit down next to the pool. It's a beautiful hotel and pool as well. The room is also very nice and everything worked perfectly well.
Loved our stay here, was so glad to have stayed in Chiang Khong which is a lovely town after crossing the border from Laos. The pool, the onsen, the views, the comfort were all fabulous as was the breakfast.
Riverside hotel, rooms with river or pool views. Nice new walking path goes right past the hotel. Exceptional river views from deck of hotel restaurant. Great continental breakfast.
We really loved having a dining room and a living room. There was also a really nice coffee shop across the street. And laundry facility in front of our hotel. Loved it.
Excellent PRICE-PERFORMANCE Ratio, Staff and Reception very friendly and professional, Wifi quickly, Free parking at hotel, beautiful Mekong river view
