In the perfect location right on the beach with a pool. It is an oasis of tranquity. Super well equipped with full kitchen . Very modern and comfortable. We will definitely be back. Everything ( restaurants , massage etc) is within walking distance. The Sunday market on the pier was fantastic.

We loved our stay at Silan Residence! The villa was very clean, cozy and comfortable. We could even watch Netflix and chill in the evenings😁 Moreover, there were 2 very nice sunbathing areas: 1 near the sea and another one in the garden. The residence is located close to 2 supermarkets, an ATM and restaurants where you can eat which is super convenient. The staff is very helpful, they’ve solved all of the issues we requested!

We loved our time at mythai guesthouse. The property was a perfect place to relax in nature. The property had a lovely garden, restaurant area and terrace where you can relax in the shade and just be. It was great to come home from being out and feel at home.
The room was spacious, clean, modern and decorated nicely so we also felt right at home here.
Jane was really friendly and welcoming and was there to give us advice and answer any questions throughout our stay.
The staff in the restaurant downstairs were very friendly and it was also nice to see them when we got back to the guesthouse!
We had dinner there one night and the burgers were really tasty.
The area, chaloklum, was really nice and had a local fisherman feel to it, and you can walk there or get there in 2 minutes by motorbike.

The beach itself (water, sand) is fine, but the terrible view once inside the water as you look into half constructed building & similar, kill any joy.
The water is calm and see-through, but no charm at all to be there.

Nice peaceful and quite village in the north of Koh Phangan with an intact local community. Two Seven Elevens and some local supermarkets as well as a drug store, diving centers and several nice restaurants are located in Chaloklum. Taxi boat services to the beaches of Haad Kkom, Bottle beach or Thong Nai Pan are offered at the pier or near Viva Pizzeria.

We stayed just outside of Chaloklum, but it's a sweet place...
We stayed just outside of Chaloklum, but it's a sweet place with a relaxed vibe and all the necessary amenities (cash point, pharmacy, etc.) We weren't a huge fan of the food in the town, but it's very close to a lot of amazing restaurants.

Not so posh as other locations but we loved it. A mix of authentic thai, holiday makers and expats, meaning a good range of eateries. Beach is not great but a 10 minute walk takes you to Malibu beach which is lovely and it's close to lots of other beaches too by motorbike (eg haad salad, wang mai resort).
We had brekky every day at the world's end (owned by a swedish lady) and dinner every day at Leo's Thai, run by Leo and his wife (both Thai). They were so friendly and lovely and food was delicious!

Chaloklum is a genuine fishing village in the north of Koh...
Chaloklum is a genuine fishing village in the north of Koh Phangan, so go here if you want to see the fishing boats, and all of the paraphernalia associated with a fishing fleet. However, Chaloklum also has beautiful beaches and a clear sea, great for a day at the beach. There are also a lot of restaurants, cafes & bars which cater for tourists. The bonus is that there's also a wonderful German Bakery, baking fresh bread & pastries everyday (their chocolate croissant are the best available this side of Vienna!).
The villa was lovely. The garden surroundings were so beautiful and we loved relaxing on the front porch. The pool was huge and such a great bonus. The house itself was simple but very comfortable and nicely decorated. Location was perfect. Chaloklum is a great small town with a more traditional feel but there are plenty of restaurant choices and a lovely beach all within walking distance. It had everything we needed for a great stay and we would definitely stay here again.

The little swimming pool with the view on Chaloklum bay is the cherry on the cake. In addition, we need to mention Foods and Roots, your restaurant in Chaloklum, which is just awesome!
Loved Chaloklum. Quiet and peaceful. Swimming pool was lovely to cool off in after a walk. Beach fabulous. Poone and his mom were excellent and friendly hosts.
