The local people at the beach were also very helpful, providing information on directions, facilities, etc. Also the restaurants at the beach were reasonably priced for such a lovely location. Also some of the bars/restaurants had live entertainment - Music, Beach artist, ie: Fire Dancers! :)

Bang Tao beach is close to the airport - perfect for a shorter trip to Phuket so you don't spend as much time in the car. Clean beach with tons of cafes and restaurants. Also super close to the Green Elephant Sanctuary - top notch sanctuary to visit and interact with the elephants.

It’s An Amazing Beach. The Nomad restaurant is one of the best. Amonde’ the Manager and his staff are AWESOME. Just as Your entering Nomad restaurant from the street is a glass room. Inside is an older man who does therapy massage. He’s a very healing man. He works for whatever you want to give. I suggest that You give a lot. It’s a must if your body is in Pain.

The resort is so beautiful, green snd calm. Also it is very vast and you feel a lot of privacy there. It is not a packed place.
The breakfast is exceptional! Very big variety of thai food, cold buffet, fresh eggs etc. Very very great breakfast. Also service is immaculate. Gils at reception are amazing! They can help you with anything you ask. Matina is a very professionsl and polite. Everyone is there is very very nice and helpful. We definitely want to come back. The ground floor rooms with patio facing the lake are the best!

The best thing is that the beach is pretty much private - it's positioned between a small canal inlet and some rocks. So you can enjoy the beach without being disturbed. It's better than what you get at the most 5 star hotels around.
It was great even during the rainy season since the beach is literally 7 meters from the villas.
The staff was extremely attentive and flexible, we had a late night flight and had checked out earlier during the day. They were able to offer us a late checkout and we were also able to use the pool / beach all day. They also provided my partner and I the use of a shower in a hotel room before we had to head out for our flight in the evening.
The hotel is also right on Bang Tao beach with access to many restaurants on the beach.
We chose this hotel mainly because we are traveling with 1,5 years old baby. For families I can 100% recommend this hotel. Pools are very good for kids, also for the babies, there are lots of children's playgrounds - inside and outside. The great thins is that hotel is right on the beach. Free shuttle bus to night market and porto de phuket is also nice. Breakfast was very good, lots of options.
We stayed at Sunwing for 7 days with my family 4 kids. The hotel is absolute bang for buck. My kids loved the amazing swimming pools and the direct access to the beautiful Bang Tao beach. The main pool also had morning excise coaches, first session every day was for kids and the second for adults great fun while swimming.

Great location, a lot of restaurants around it. During 3 weeks stay we visited most of it and found many really nice places. Sure, you can stay in Dusit Thani or SAii, 5 star hotels, but here in Best Western you will find perfect family rooms and nice restaurants. No need to rent a car or bike, everything is close.

I loved everything about this resort! Rooms were comfortable and tidy, personnel provided exceptional quality services, breakfasts at the hotel restaurant were very tasty. I also loved the pool area - very beautiful. Shuttle bus was always on time. Definitely will come back in the near future. The reception guy (Nook) was very professional.
Love the ambience and decor of the hotel. The Pavilion has the most friendly staff and they made our stay so welcoming and enjoyable. There were so many beautiful hotel in Phuket and compared to the others, I love the “Thai style” decor which is unique, and the friendly and cheerful staff is what makes us love this hotel
Cute little place only a few minutes walk from the beach. Breakfast was nice eating outside and the pool was clean. My children enjoyed the stay having their own room. Everyone was nice and the shortcut to the beach through the nearby resort was great! All in all a nice stay and quiet. Throughly enjoyed.
Breakfast was a little odd and a little sparse although sensibly so due to occupancy I guess. I carried out a survey of a nearby 5 star hotel resort during my stay and universally my team stated that the Hilton was head and shoulders above it, albeit that it is a significantly older property.
Nice beach, breakfast area with sea view, good choice at breakfast, resort feel with volleyball and pool table. Family suite, good size room with second bedroom and second shower room. Filtered water provided in rooms. Quiet location only a few eating options just outside hotel.
This is an OK hotel if you have kids and are on a budget. It feels like being in a dorm or something. The girls at check in are super sweet but once you have checked in you are on your own. Nobody will help with your bags, nobody will deliver ice to your room… super basic.
