Service was too bad. They ask for a 2000 baht deposit at the hotel. As it was not mentioned in the booking policy, I had a shortage of money for the trip. Also, they don't accept dollars or other currency for deposit, so We need to get out far at currency exchange for conversion if we are running short of Thai Baht.

We haven’t been to Patong for 8 years. Nothing has changed since our last visit. Stay away from water activities on Patong beach. They are all cahoots with each other and ready to rip you off…. Just be aware of this and you should be ok.

I come from a country which is know for its beaches worldwide.
Said that, I will definitely say that Patong beach did not disappoint me at all. Perfect tide for swimming and other activities. You can either choose to low down under shade of an umbrella and enjoy your beer or coconut water or you can go inside the water and enjoy the activities or just play around.

Gosh, been there a few times now. I can't stand the people selling stuff in the markets. They won't let you look first. The keep pushing, pushing you to buy, buy. I just walk away now. Get a driver and head to the night market they are much better.

We have been to Phuket before, so did not book any tours.
We have been to Phuket before, so did not book any tours. Went for pure relaxation, and that's what we did. The first full day was so relaxed it felt like we had been there 4 or 5 days. On the day to come home, we would have liked to stay. We had 3 massages whilst there, and while one was cheaper than the other two, it was worth paying the extra for the different massage. Bangla Road is peaceful during the day, and a night party from dusk. Even though we aren't party animals, it was great people watching while sitting in a pub. Some restaurants that don't look much (Hippie Road Bar) provide the best food, and some that look better really disappoint (Outback Bar). We fully intend to return to Patong again, for the atmosphere (we like to be around people) and the serenity we had while in a busy spot.

I loved literally everything. I cannot think if a better way to enjoy our stay. The hotel location was perfect on the best spot of patong beach exactly 5 mins by car and 15 mins walk to bangla road the buziest area of phuket. The room was suuuuper clean with perfect view. It was very spacious and all facilities were provided. Breakfast was soooo varied whatever is your taste. The staff were very friendly and very helpful
We enjoy staying in Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Merlin beach. Huge green territory, a lot of restaurants, kids club, entertainment programme, beach.
We valued attention to kids - they had kids set of tooth brush, paste, etc, kids bathrobe, slippers.
Hotel provides snorkelling equipment, coral shoes, what makes you rest comfortable. There is diving centre in the hotel.
Everything was perfect. Best hotel in Phuket, or even in Thailand. Great service, amazing staff and amazing rooms, especially the one with private pool. Food and drinks were the best too, congratulation to the bartender ( the best I've met in Thailand ) and to Outlet Manager who entertained us every evening and morning at the breakfast. Definitely will return
I like everything about Hotel Clover. It was the only hotel out of 3 with a real capsule coffee machine during our 10-day stay in Thailand. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the beach and other important places in Phuket. I love the hotel so much that I took back the hotel water bottle as a souvenir back to India :)
The staff's attitude is outstanding, everyone was so helpful and kind. The whole place is clean and well maintained. Close to the beach but still quiet. Breakfast was superb as well as the cocktails in the bar. We loved the pool also. This was our 9th visit to Phuket, but one of the best hotels we stayed.
